Played here last week and have to say that the course has recovered from the over seed. The greens were firm and fast and the fairways were 90% full. #9 had some issues on the green but other than that the course is in great shape. It is a shame that the SCGA is selling this course. Come out and play it and see for your self.

I had a much better experience at the golf course this time around. The greens and fairways were in awesome shape. I played much better and all the beauty from the course came together. I appreciate all of the employees that made it a fantastic day. Try the course for your self and you will see

I grew up playing this course and still love it. A classic tree lined layout that makes you work the ball. This course is always in good shape considering the amount of play the receive. A must play

I liked this track and for sure would play it again. Greens rolled true with minor ball mark damage and the fairways only had a few brown areas that did not come into play. I would recommend this course for the average golfer to try out.

Fair course, But, Not my type of track. The bunkers were soft and the fairways were wet. I loved the lay out but would not pay the high green fee again for this track. Like I said every course has its player but this course is not my cup of tee. Play it for yourself and see if you like it or not.

This was my first time playing the Champions course and loved it. I guess we played the day after the PGA Q-School was there because the golf course was in perfect condition. The staff was really friendly and the food was great. I have not putt on greens this fast for a long time. It was a perfect day. I recommend this course for all to play at least once so you can see for your self.

Played this course last week and had no real complaints. The service was fair but not excellent. The conditions were nice after they had just opened from their over seed but not spectacular. I had higher expectations from this course. I would return to play this course only if the other courses I play were full.

Came out to play on Saturday and the course was in fantastic condition. The rough was a little long and the fairways had some dry areas but all in all was a great track. I really appreciate the fast and smooth greens. We played the course in 3 1/2 hours and had the beveraqe cart come around at least three times through out our round. I would make the drive from Long Beach again any day of the week to play this fine track. The only down side is you better eat breakfast before you get there because the kitchen does not open until like 10:00am.
