Played Nov 2015 after some big storms. Course is flat with some trees. About typical muni condition except for the ant mounds which were everywhere. These are the tiny ants that are all over the south. When they bite you, you will know it. Course was not very interesting, won't be back.

Played Oct 2015. One of the best courses we played in Texas, right up there with Pine Dunes. Very challenging and enjoyable layout. Again, drought conditions when we played but still decent fairways and greens. Will go back.

Played Oct 2015. Next to lake Waco with some nice views. Interesting layout in fair condition, some fairways thin. Drought at that time in Texas. Some trees with mostly wide fairways. Would play it again.

Played Oct 2014. Course is near downtown in a valley/meadow. Good layout in decent shape. One nine is in a meadow, the other in pine trees. Interesting course worth playing.

Played Oct 2014. Course is typical park style course, flat with trees. We played here because someone in town said it's the best public course. Man in pro shop not nice. Course average muni, boring. Wouldn't play here again.

Played July 22. Course in great shape after all the rain. Still one of my favorite courses. We were rained on for a few holes, to be expected this time of year. Play was a little slow but doesn't affect rating of conditions or layout.

Played July 26. Been several years since I played here. The houses have all been built around the course. They are not in play or distracting. It means that the course is getting more play so it has more money for improvements. The condition of the course is very good except the greens a little bumpy. Front more straight forward with some elevation change. Back nine tougher and more interesting with a lot more elevation change, some target golf. With the better conditions will play here more often. Now 4 courses in Sedona area worth playing.

Played July 25. Played north course day before. This is more of a links style course, trees few and far between. Since it was hot it was very uncomfortable to not to be able to park in the shade once in awhile. All courses in Arizona should have trees next to tees and greens. My personal beef. Course in very good shape for muni, greens putted well and had only one bad lie in fairway. Sand traps were soft with lots of heavy sand. Some houses but not in play or distracting. Farther from airport so planes not a problem. I also played Talking Rock near here using my OB card. Course not listed here because private. Very nice course with flat front nine ans hilly and challenging back nine.

Played July 24. Been a long time since I played this course. Some of the trees are gone, they get old and die or blow over on these older park style courses. Don't understand why they don't plant new trees in anticipation of this happening. Not just here but most courses like this fail to plant new trees. Still a very challenging course in very good shape. Half of course flat around airport, other half on side of hill. Pilot training schools for helicopters and airplanes mean lots of noise. Not to distracting and kind of interesting to see all kinds of aircraft. Harder than south course but fair.

Played this March. The front nine is squeezed into a housing development. It's all about the back nine, it goes through two quarries. There are some great holes, well worth putting up with the front nine. The par 3 11th goes from one side of quarry to the other, deep ravine between. Look in ravine, looks like snow there are so many golf balls. Be warned, the fairways are narrow, play up.

Played this March. This is an old style park land type course. But one of the better ones. Course in excellent shape. Have to mention that the people working here make the experience special. Nice to play where its relaxing and enjoyable.

Played this March. Played all 27 holes, that is the only way to play the original 18. The new nine is desert type that was mixed in with an original nine. The Rancho 9 is the one every one wants to play, the Tin Cup holes, so it is always busy. Flat with lots of trees, challenging. Makes it worth the trip. The other two 9's are not busy. Not as interesting.
