played here superbowl sunday, and i don't think it is worth the green fee. it is a little short, a nice classic course, but the condition was just so so. The greens were nice, and the course played slow, it was a tournament so all the idiots felt like they needed to look at every two foot putt from all angles and take a practice stroke like mickelson. drove me crazy. not bad, but not worth the green fee in my opinion.

I live in moorpark, but never get out to Rustic since my regular game is up north and it is do darn tough to get a tee time on the weekend there. But I played and it was in nice shape, the biggest concern is in the areas of rough, which there isn't much there, you just get some horrid lies because the patches of grass as so clumpy. However, the fairways are so wide, that it sn't that big of a deal as you shouldn't be there anyways. The greens and fringes were nice and firm, somewhat speedy, but a real test of the short game as always. Touch is a must.

Highly worth the green fee... I will say the fairways and tee bozes were especially lush, more than I remember... so many perfect lies in the fairway.

As a club member that lives 1.5 hours away, this course is well worth the drive and you will definitely want to return once you see how all the twists and turns in the course lay out.

This is a course to play multiple times as it takes a time or two to understand where the trouble and safe spots are.

Greens roll beautifully, tough to find better maintained greens anywhere else.

This is a course that you can play and if you play well, score on.

Course was in fine shape and often does have greens that roll fairly fast. The wind is the biggest unknown that can dramatically change your approach on many different holes. Narrower holes that might require a long iron, fairway wood off the tee to avoid hazards and OB often play right into the wind in the afternoon. Can't beat their Grill Room.
