Greens are still pretty bumpy. The back was punched more recently and still needs time to recover. The front is almost there but still a tad bumpy yesterday 11/17/10. The fairways are in good shape as always, and the tee boxes are near perfect. Its a bit on the pricey side with a cart, but if you like to walk its more worth that price. It has a mix of easy holes and a couple longer par 4's which are difficult to reach. The first par 5 is reachable in 2 and is the only par 5 with a legitimate eagle chance.

This course is my favorite in the area. The greens are in excellent shape and came back really fast after they recently punched. The front is the easier side and the back is the challenge. It's a very scoreable course but can bite you on the back 9. The greens are rolling great now, so this is a must play. Can't wait to play it this Friday! Best deal in the area by far.

Course is in good shape after the rains. The greens are a bit slower right now which will be easier than the norm. Once they cut them short again it will speed things up. The course has some great holes which always has me wanting to come back. Not truly my favorite course but it is a good test of your skills. You need to play this course more than once in a while to begin scoring well. Then you will dial it in! If the wind is blowing expect your score to be higher!

Wow, the greens are not what they were earlier this year. Played last Friday right after a couple days of rain and they seemed slow for Saticoy. They have some brown spots from the heat this summer and did not impress me like they did prior to the US Open qualifier. This course is known for it's tour like greens but it aint happenen right now. Give it some rain and more prep like they did for the qualifier and they should be back to the lightning fast, most true rolling greens in Ventura County. It's a treat to play there and to know a member.

They recently punched the greens and their coming back in better than ever. The newer superintendant has done an excellent job, and they even even recently upgraded their tee boxes. They are more flat now and have lots of room to shift the boxes around. If you havent played here recently it's worth a round. Save some shots for the back 9 as it's more technical, and if you can wait another week or two the greens will be even better!
