A little off the beaten path but a relaxing setting. Course conditions have improved considerably from the last time I played in January. I agree with the previous post, from the champion tees number 13 is a bear and number 17 has disaster potential written all over would be great rounds! Good course for the money.

Absolutely always love playing La Costa! Course was in outstanding shape though not as nice as it appeared on TV a few weeks back. Still neat to walk in the footsteps of the worlds best so soon after. Greens showed no effects from the recent aeration and rolled beautifully. Treat yourself to this gem.

The first 4 or 5 holes were aerated but after that it was clean sailing. Echo many of the previous posts. Short course where hole management is key. Many of the holes on the back are tight…especially the par 4’s. It’s better to leave the driver in the bag. Some fun risk reward opportunities. Besides the greens the rest of the golf course is in great shape. New owners appear to be more focused. Looking forward to what’s to come at Castle Creek County Club.

Of the two Cottonwood golf course, I like Ivanhoe better because it’s longer and more wide open then Monte Vista. Played Ivanhoe today and the course is in good shape. Fairways a little thin in spots but everything else good to excellent conditions. I agree with the previous post, 116 is too slow of a slope rating.

Coronado golf course is the best deal in town…unfortunately everyone else knows that.
The standbye list was brutal today because of a morning tourney. Thankfully they were able to squeeze me out. I’m happy they did because golf course was in excellent condition considering all the play it gets. Pretty fun track with wonderful views of the bay. Some reachable par 5’s and short par 3’s to find get some birds. Great golf course.
