WeKoPa Saguaro even better than I remember. Very special. Love being able to walk. Except when tucked behind a bunker, are able to get at most pins even when greens very firm and fast. Thank you Bill Coore/Ben Crenshaw. Great variety. A lot of excellent holes. Have yet to be disappointed in playing either WeKoPa course.

Enjoyable getaway day course. Not far from airport. Conditions were firm and fast- both fairways and greens. Greens rolled very nicely. Was able to get at most flag locations due to ability to play run up shot if you wish. Am guessing that Longbow does not always play this firm. We were there in April 2009. Great value, although, would not play again if we had to pay 'normal' AZ winter/spring rates. Excellent service as well.

Again, not disappointed with WeKoPa. Beautiful surroundings, holes, conditions every time I've played either WeKoPa course. Very firm and fast though this time in April of 2009. Greens were tough to hold and almost impossible to get to when coming in over a bunker. Only negative was that they admittedly were getting extra groups (NASCAR was in town) onto the course between scheduled tee times- our 1:50 became 2:30!

A little disappointed, to be honest, with Eagle Mountain. Course was in fine shape. Firm, fast greens. Holes became forgettable after a while. Uphill or downhill tee shots with half pipe landing areas cut in the canyons were very generous for off line tee shots but not very challenging. Did enjoy the finishing holes and the par threes were great. Played in April of 2009. Would not choose to play there again on return trips to PHX.

Except for some problems they had on a couple greens (mainly no. 1 that had new sod near the front), again enjoyed return to GC of Estrella. Course was in good shape, greens actually held approach shots unlike how firm WeKoPa, Eagle Mtn., and Longbow's greens were on weekend of April 17-20, 2009. Fair, fun, challenging course to play.

You can't go wrong with either of the Pelican Hill layouts. Undeservedly, the stepchild of the Pelican Hill courses, the South is almost as challenging, has many great shot values and has better views than the North. I don't believe it plays as long as the North and there may be more encroachment of homes a couple times. Conditions have always been superb the times I've played and have always enjoyed making my way around the South Course. Love the oceanside back to back par threes.

Found course to be as advertised. Rough around the edges, very scenic, and very, very challenging- not a place for beginners- which, unfortunately, did not keep the non golfing, vacationing father and his 10 year old son we got paired with from playing some online, last minute, discount golf on a Saturday morning!

Would not hesitate to play again but there are others in the area that keep Las Sendas off the 'must play' list. Did appreciate the speed/condition of the greens. They had them rolling very nicely at a more than speedy enough pace.

We really enjoyed playing GC of Estrella. (Don't confuse it with Estrella Mtn. Golf Course down the road) We had not planned to play but it was raining east of the Valley (Las Sendas GC) and heard good things about the track and that the West Valley gets a lot less rain. Made the drive to Goodyear and were not disappointed. It wasn't raining, we paid reasonable green fees and got to play a beautiful course. Appreciated the receptive but speedy greens and fair but challenging course. Staff was friendly. Enjoyed hanging out in the small lounge afterwards. The chicken salad croissant was quite tasty.

You won't be disappointed if you put SunRidge Canyon on your playlist. Might want to also play at We-Ko-Pa or GC at Eagle Mountain as long as you're in Fountain Hills. Last played in December '07. Fun and challenging. Excellent conditions. Down into the canyon on the front and make your way back up on the return. We've always had to play cart path only which is disappointing, but they said a little later in December, they're usually 90 degrees on fairway. First hole is driveable if you're feeling confident!

Played in December '07. Great layout. A lot of fun holes to play. Still can't figure how to read the greens! We always seem to include Verrado on our golf trips to AZ. Excellent conditons. Beautiful views. Homes that border course are not intrusive. Have always had good service when playing Verrado. Worth the drive to Buckeye. And the food is excellent in the grille (get their homemade chips instead of fries).

A unique experience. Understated but amazing course (much moreso than Crenshaw's Talking Stick layout). Played in December 2007. Excellent conditions- have never had anything less in playing We-Ko-Pa courses. Beautiful walk in the foothills/desert. Recommend use of power cart instead of using 'cart path only' carts. Actually, I will carry own bag next time. Firm greens.

Can't go wrong playing here. Conditions make you forget about what you maybe put down to play. Love the par threes. Excellent service.
