Cinnabar was an excellent day of golf. From the friendly staff in the proshop and the starter to the impeccable tee boxes and greens, your day of golf will be easy going. The green fees are on the higher side but there is definitely value in what you are paying for. We played on July 3rd (holiday weekend) and the pace of play was very good. The tee box placement accounted for most of the difficulty of the course but each one was well placed for good views of the fairways and greens. Be sure to bring a few extra balls if you stray on your tee shot. The previous reviews of the greens being fast were spot on. Do not expect to stick on the greens as you will have a hard time finding a divet to repair. Overall an excellent day at golf while visiting the Bay Area at Cinnabar.

I wouldn't quite call it a hidden gem more like a hidden semi-precious stone. Prices meet the conditions but what separates this course from the others is that you can pretty much walk-on at any time, and the service is top notch. Pro-Shop is bare since the new management took over. They are slowly adding more items. They have a separate chipping and sand practice area next to the range. Since new management, the trees have been trimmed back and you can see improvement with the greens and tee boxes. The fairways held up nicely through the recent super dry summer and are mostly green where you should be hitting. I will keep returning as the improvements keep coming as it is a good value and a hidden semi-precious stone.

Nice course. Greens sorta slow and this gives you trouble with the many breaks you have to deal with on these greens. This was the greenest I've seen the fairways. Oh and the beer girl is totally HOT.

with good practice facilities and the ease of walk-up (single), a great place to practice your game without giving up the whole afternoon

Really well maintained course. Kinda pricey for a course with a portable building as the club house. Seriously, how long does it take to build a clubhouse? 3 years? Well its been over three years buddies and your price is high. Build it and they will still come, and be able to chill after a round with a couple of beers and you will make more money. Nicely maintained course though.

I hate trees, and this course has few. Fairways are nice and big, and greens very challenging. This course plays long so bring those woods. Pleasent staff and nice club house make this a really nice course. I recommend anyone who like to let the drives really fly, to play here.

A perfect course to walk. Almost completely flat with some greens. From what I understand it was originally an 18 hole par 3, but was converted to 9 holes. Course has some distance to use the driver on. Can stress enough how pleasent it is to walk 9 flat holes. Dodn't even think about that cart.

Eaton Canyon is a great 9 hole course. Good practice facilities and easy single walk-ons make it an ideal place to work on your game without giving up an entire day. Pleasent staff in club house and bar round out this nice course.

Catalina course is a nice 9 hole course. A couple of greens and tees have ocean views. Easy enough to walk. I played last year on Memorial Day weekend and had the course to myself along with a father and son, whom were using hole 4 as a driving range, lol.
Marshal was taking a snooze and catching some flys. A nice easy day to say the least.

Played #1 Sunday June 25 twilight. Started at 3:30 and finished at 8:10p. Greens were even and nice. Pace was average but could have been faster if the threesome infront of us used common sense. Please do not play from the blues if you can't drive more than 180. And then please do not wait on your 200+ yd "approach" shot, if you can't reach it off of a tee, then your not going to make it with your 100 yd shanked iron shot. Overall the course was nice. One tip: Bring "Bug Off" or some sort of knat repellant if you are there a dusk. I spent the last three holes with a cigerette in my hand to keep the knats out of my face, and I don't even smoke.

This course is dollar for dollar one my favorite courses. Somtimes crowded but keeps a nice pace. Course is green and poses moderate challanges. A fun day.
