Play Oceanside often, the staff is great, course has good tee boxes and good greens, the fairways are bermuda and are not real green in the winter months, but they still play good.The bunkers have a finer grain sand than most courses and may take a little getting used to. If your looking for soft fairways begging you to take a divot this is not the place this time of year. The course is great for walkers and also forgiving for the players working on their game.

4-29-12 Played at 11am The course is in great condition, Tee boxes are great, Fairways are great, Greens are in great condition no bare spots or fungus. One green has a dead stripe down the middle about 5 inches wide from an oil leak in one of the mowers , think it was #3 or #4. Bunkers are a little firm from the recent rains 1 inch of loose sand and then firm. The rate of play was very good, not crowded at all. If you've played here before you know you can expect a good and tough course. Cheers

Played Oceanside today 4/5/12 the greens were aerated , so sand on the greens, but they were actually pretty smooth, they did a good job of smoothing the sand out so they were consistent. The course was good otherwise, lot's of wildlife around the course , a great time of year to play there, with all the seasonal birds, can't even start to name them all. That's the cool thing big grey birds, saw one catch a gopher.

The course is good, tee boxes are great and greens are great and have been for months now. Fairways are fair, as a lot of courses are doing now they are not giving a lot of attention to the fairways, but the recent rains have helped. Greens are not real challenging as far a difficulty, course is flat and mostly open, a few narrow fairways.

Course was great , what a great setting and golf course. Target golf in most cases, greens are difficult when pin locations are tough, undulating and slopes will allow you to roll right off the green.

Played here 1-18-12 and as usual this course is in great shape. We played immediately following a tournament so there were some ball marks on the greens but we fixed them as we played through, but as usual the course and the greens were in great shape. It is always a pleasure to play here. We don't play here alot simply because it is less expensive to play some of the other courses around, but if you want to know you're going to have good conditions this is the place to book. It's been that way for 10 years.

THE COURSE WAS GREAT, GREAT CONDITION, FAIRWAYS GREEN AND SLIGHTLY MOIST PERFECT FOR DIVOTS , GREENS VERY NICE AND CONSISTANT THROUGHOUT, NO GPS , THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING RID OF THE EXISTING SYSTEM DUE TO FAULTY READINGS AND THE CO. APPARENTLY WOULDN'T CORRECT THE PROBLEMS. SO THE COURSE IS MARKED BUT NOT ALWAYS AN EASY FIND. DIDN'T MATTER FOR US WE HAD A BUSHNELL 1500 PINSEEKER WHICH ALWAYS MAKES THE JOB EASY! THEY ALSO SELL THE COURSE CADDY BOOKLET IN THE PRO SHOP FOR 6.50 AND IF YOUV'E SEEN THESE LITTLE BOOKLETS THEY ARE AWESOME. AN ENJOYABLE DAY OUT , THE COURSE WAS NOT BUSY FOR US , BUT THE SNACK BAR WAS A POPULAR SPOT AND IT WAS WARM AT TIMES SO I WOULD SUGGEST BRING SOME WATER ALTHO THEY DID HAVE SOME WATER COOLERS ON THE COURSE BUT A FEW WERE EMPTY. THE DRIVING RANGE IS SHORT, MAYBE 250 AT BEST SO IF YOU DRIVE IT LONG YOU MAY NOT GET MUCH WARM UP WITH THE DRIVER.
