Played Saturday 8/19 on a $40 GK coupon special - an excellent price for this track. Played from the blues, tee boxes were in fine shape and nice and flat, fairways are pretty wide and well-kept, the rough was just high enough to be somewhat punishing when you found it. Bunkers were in great shape with nice fluffy sand. Greens were dry, firm and held approach shots well - rolling medium-fast I'd say, with some very tricky reads at times. Of particular note were pin positions: very often they were tucked close to the edge of the green, a nice touch. All in all, a really great experience, beautiful range and clubhouse, only disappointment was not getting to try the restaurant as it closes at 4pm in the summer.

Played Saturday 10-9, in a foursome with my father, and a couple we were paired up with. Tee time was 8:48am, went off about 10 minutes late, understandable for a weekend. Course was in AMAZING condition and this 17 handicapper was very challenged from the whites. Unfortunately we were behind another 4-ball that had no idea on pace of play. They seemed to always be too far away from their carts on cart-allowed fairway holes and lingered far too long on greens after they had putt out. No marshal in sight made for a 5 1/4 hour round (not bad but nowhere near good) as they always seemed to have a wide open hole ahead, causing play to slow for us and groups behind. Would absolutely play again, but more than likely on a weekday!

Great track. Very challenging but very fair - off-line tee shots are generally kicked into valleys or furrows, so accuracy off the tee to find elevated fairways a must. same goes for greens - if you're off by just a few yards you can find yourself chipping up a huge hill or out of a crazy bunker. Conditions were immaculate - good roll on the fairways and though the greens appeared to be getting a little burned they rolled very true. So true that putting is crazy difficult! Played from the blues in the GK outing and posted a score that I felt was worse than how I played - a poor putter will definitely have trouble here. Make sure you bring a good sand/short game!
