Played here 08/12/13 teed off at 2:00 pm so I knew wind would kick up. Course was pretty much wide open so a great time to get your on course practice in. Pace of play was great approx 3.1 hours. The course in all was in bad shape. Tee boxes have been over played and dry. Looks as if they hadn't been moved in a week . Greens were all marked, scuffed and dry. Fairways were also lacking water. May have just been the Monday blues but com'on ! I have played here often, but not in 4 months or so and there has been a serious decline since then. However still a great bargain and nothing that water and a kick in the rear to the grounds crew can't fix. Great layout and challenge . The staff is always great.

Played here for the first time in June 2013. got out around 11 for a birthday round. my wife who is a beginner was in tow. great time of day to have her out, no one in front and no pushing from behind. i just kept her moving , double boggy and and ball in hand. keep her from getting to frustrated. the course plays much harder from the tips and in the afternoon then the USGA slope would show. 142 but that's a tough trek in any yard. Made the mistake of playing here my first time blind, not a good course for that . old style links plenty of run on the fairways but burns will get you if you don't know they are there. many forced carries to the greens . Course was in good shape, plenty of challenges await. 19th hole is awesome 1 of the best around , but the food is great. prices are very good. All he staff is great, i cant tell you how nice that is. so wanna have fun, head out around 11 to 1 when the wind is picking up and experience something you may not see anywhere else. and have fun.

Played here 06/05/13 and 06/06/13 and i cant tell you how nice the course looks, i have played here approx 10 times over the past 2 years and never have seen it this nice. the summer rates are back and its well worth the drive from oc. the greens were true , the fairways perfect , tee boxes in great shape and cold water every 4 holes or so. the staff is always great and the carts are pristine. you can spend more but why bother when its 105 by noon. i cant tell you if i have seen a harder working grounds crew. most courses in the desert become real ghost towns come summer and even though there is a reduced staff here they aren't cutting back on the course maintenance . no delay, 3 to 3.5 hour rounds. and that's with my wife who is a beginner. AAA+++

i consider this my home course so its hard to write a bad review, my rating is low but i want to be honest. I love the staff, the new carts are along time coming , there has been renovations going on due to freeway construction for a long time but its getting back in shape quick. but by far the best deal in oc. nice practice hole for your 110 and in short game.
stay out of the trees on this course, I know that goes without saying , but
on this course i mean it. the greens are not bad . the sand traps need new sand so grab the wedge with little bounce. the course will add a few strokes to your game when the wind kicks up in the afternoon, 1 to 2 extra clubs on everything after 2 pm. the grill and bar are great , the pro Art , is one of the best . try it out and have fun.

love this course , i like to play the dessert in the summer , get out early and hang at the pool. this course moves fast in the morning , the course is in great shape considering the heat, my wife is a beginner and its a great place for her to start , its links style allows her to miss and not loose her ball. the fact that there are so few people out is great none to push her. the staff is great , carts are new , plenty of ice and water every few holes. summer special is $25.00 any time all day , everyday.. cant beat that . no flat fairways so don't count on a easy lie. some raised small greens so don't miss. love the course.
