Pete dye was played on June 28th. In my opinion a better course than the Gary player course. Definitely more water on this course and more houses. Fairways were about the same as the Gary player course. Nice, tight and green. The
Bunkers seemed a little more plentiful and very sandy. Water came into play a lot more. The greens had the same patchy green and brown look but were much better. The roll was nice and nowhere near as bumpy and they were a lot faster. Still not as fast as expected. I would definitely play here again.

Played the Gary player course on Saturday 27. It was in good shape. With the water restrictions they are letting the rough go
And fairways and greens get all the love. Still in shape right now, but let's see what it looks like in August. Fairways were very nice and the greens were firm. Putting the greens were not as fast as I expected and a bit bumpy. Bunkers were thick with sand and that was nice. Not to be in them but that they actually had sand. Overall I'd say it is a nice course not too hard but not too easy.

This was my first run at Brookside. When I first drove up it looked and was very busy. I got a bucket of balls and headed to the range which was jammed. Luckily I didn't have to wait like about 5 others after I got a spot. After checking I figured we would run a bit behind due to the crowds. We actually were right on time. Put out in a 5some. For the heavy traffic that is run through that course on a daily basis and it being a parking lot during the UCLA season it was in surprisingly good condition. The fairways were decent. The rough was just that. ROUGH. The bunkers were pretty nice and actually had sand in them. The greens by far were the best feature of this course. Well maintained and not too fast but not too slow. Tee boxes were ok. Everything on this course is flat until you get around the greens, then there is some elevation changes. I mean not a lot, about 4-5 feet. But it something when everything is flat.
Overall I would go back and I may next weekend. Pretty easy course with very little trouble to get into unless you spray the ball every where.

Played Los serranos may 15 and it was pretty nice. Nobody really out due to the rain. The greens were nice and firm and pretty fast. The need to repair the greens around the cups. They seem to be sloped to the left because I kept missed on that side. I don't know what else it could be. The fairways were ok, more dirt patches than there probably should be. The bunkers where the worst I have seen in a while. Majority were like playing out of the parking lot. Hard, mud and no sand. So bad that I didn't need to take them after hitting out, taking made them worse. Overall I had fun and with nobody else on the course who can complain?

Played the Ike on May 14 and the course was in the best shape I have ever seen it in. The fact that there was a US Open qualifier the day before probably had a lot to do with that. It was rainy that day however the fairways ran for days and the greens were like greased lightning. Overall this course is always nice and always in good shape.

This course is very challenging but is always fun to play. The fairways were in great condition. There were a lot of divots in the landing areas. Pace of play can be slow, there are a lot of people that think they should play the tips when they should be playing, well, not the tips. Greens were excellent. Not too firm not too soft. Putts rolled true. There are a lot of very undulated greens on this course. Water comes into play on a few holes. Carts have GPS, which is always nice. If you try to drive on a cart path only hole, the cart will shut itself down and you will have to back out the same way you came. I love this course , the Babe course is beautiful as well.

Just finished playing the Babe course. It is in great shape. Fairways are lush and cut tight. Some of the lower lying parts of the fairways were a little mushy. The rough is thick and challenging to play out of sometimes. The greens were beautifully manicured and super fast. I love playing here on both courses.
