Chester is like the girl you think is good looking from across the bar. Looks nice from a far but is far from good. Greens are slow and bumpy. The fairways looks great but are shaggy and long. We saw the maintenance crew watering the cart path on four holes! (Seriously watering the cart path) should look better in like 2-3 weeks but it just seems the greenskeeper is clueless. Will play again but not until they fix the greens

Got the pleasure of playing trump today with a buddy. Crazy foggy for the entire front 9. Made things tough for some one who hasn't played there. Conditions were solid but not quite what you would expect for $200 plus. Tee boxes and greens were a little furry and needed a cut. There are some great green complexes. Playing very soft overall. From the blues it's actually pretty short and the play is a fairway wood for most holes. Would play again if the price was right

Played yesterday and they were punching the right side of every green! Course overall nice and fun.

Just played today. Awesome layout and a whole lot of fun. One thing I must say is the greens are some of the slowest I have ever seen. Easy to pitch and chip on but really tough to make putts. Overall course is in good condition.

Course is in the worst condition tee to green that I have seen. Especially for a course that's upwards of $50 rack rate. Tee boxes were lumpy and grass was way too long. Fairways decent at best. Sand in the bunkers is nice and fluffy...but nobody ever rakes the sand here. Greens medium speed and overall okay. Pace of play is an absolute joke. Got out around 12:30 for 30$ through golfnow. Course was packed and not one Marshall to be seen. We finished 13 holes in 4 hours and 15 minutes!!!
Won't be back for a while.

Played here the day prior to thanksgiving for the first time.
Course is very nice. GPS worked great. Some shorter tricky par 4s. Greens were fast but very receptive to solid shots. Course plays much shorter than the yardage due to numerous downhill tee shots. Staff was friendly. I will definitely play again. I recommend showing up early and taking advantage of a great range.

Solid track. Good all around test of game. Some mid-long tight holes where good tee shots are premium. Back to back par 3s and par 5s on the front.

This is a great course! All of the staff is helpful and polite, very forgiving from the whites but can play long and challenging from the back tees, awesome course if you can afford it.

Played Alondra 8-18-07, pace was actually pretty decent. This is the course to break 80...that is if you can get some putts to drop on these bumpy pitted greens. All par 5s are birdie holes, keep a close eye on your ball because its always crowded and everyone is playing army golf.

Played 11-27-06 at 6:20 am, course was in great shape, definetly a target golf course. Pace of play was fantastic, along with all the staff. If you want to play a world class course for 60 bucks this is the one!
