Played 7AM 10/15/06 - Course has reccovered from overseeding and looks great. I actually preferred that way it looks now as it is really framed by the yellow / brown rough (not overseeded) and desert surroundings. Greens are very true and always on the slow side though.

Fun course with great value when compared to others in the area.

WOW!! great Golf course!! I am traditionally hard on the new courses that bill themselves as the best thing around, but this place is fantastic. This course has it right - A golf course can be tough and playable at the same time - Cross Creek needs to take from this model.

I played at 8:30 AM on a Sunday behind a really slow group and still played fairly fast and the discounted green fee of 55 bucks was a steal for this course. This might be the best course in the Palm Desert Area - for sure the best I have played out there, and I have played a lot of courses out there.

Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!!!!

Greens are reall beat up with ball marks, does anyone fix there marks anymore? With that said they do roll nice away from the marks...
Pricey and far away, and difficult back nine - not sure if it was worth the price....

I don't understand why this place gets a bad rap. It is a great golf course. Yes the greens are a bit bumpy in the PM and slow overall but that does not make it a bad course. There are plenty of shots you need to score here. And the price is great. Pace of play for a Thursday PM was awesome.

Played two Saturdays in a row 5/20 and 5/27. Even in 105 degree temp the 1st day and a 30 MPH wind the 2nd, this was a fun golf course. Great new layout that has some bite if you are not placing the ball inthe right spots. But then again it plays fair in windy conditions. Plus Jullian has got to be the hottest starter in all of golf.

Played 5/29/06 - Still pricey compared to others in the area, but recent work on course is starting to make this a fun course again and thereby making you forget about the 65 dollar weekend greens fee.

Pace of Play on a Tuesday morning was horrible!!!! Started at 9:15 and had to miss three holes to make another appointment at 3:30PM.... No marshalls working - just driving around. By contrast - played SCGA week prior started at 10 AM was done at 2PM.

WOW!! Played 5/25/06 - I forgot what a great golf course this place really is.... These greens were the fastest I have ever played and that includes Pinehurst in Jan.

I play here regularly, and the changes are starting to make this a fun course again. Maint is getting much improved. Starting to creep up on price again, but overall Los Serranos is headed in the right direction.

At 39 bucks with lunch, how coulfd this course not be worth it. The greens are a little slow but mostly that's because of the heat they have let them grow a touch. By the way, by far the best looking waitresses and cart girls in California golf.

Nice course with some interesting holes, greens in great shape for a public course. Can't say the same about anything else though. In general rate this course a 5 out of ten. By the way, I don't know why but we had the course to ourselves at 12 noon Sunday. We did catch up to any one till #16. Still makes you wonder why?

I play here just about every weekend, and I must say the course is in the best shape it has been in in years.
