Played this past weekend in the Oxnard City Championship....and may I say, I have never seen this course in such great shape. The greens were smooth pure and lightning fast! I talked to Kyle, one of the supers, and he said he stimped the greens at 14.7 first thing in the morning! All the pin locations were tucked, but i didnt see any that seemed unfair or stupid to me. Course was very challenging but I had a great time and I cannot wait to play this course again.

Played Del Lago last sunday....normally i dont mind drivin the 45 minutes door to door that it is for me because this is normally one of the better conditioned courses in the tucson area. and the layout is just extremely fun to play. great set of golf holes. good birdie chances along with holes where a par almost feels like a birdie. But back to last weekend, when i drove up i was highly dissapointed to find that they had not overseeded the fairways this year. I dont know what the reasoning behind this is and im not gonna blame anybody, just in case there is a legitimate reason for them not overseeding, but i was extremely dissapointed. the course was still in good shape. greens were very good, and the areas around the greens were overseeded and very lush. but the fairways all being dormant made it very difficult to make solid contact with irons. overall a fun course, and i will be back.

Played last Sunday and the course is in great shape. The offshore wind created quite a challenge and I loved it. The fairways and "rough" are very lush. The first cut of rough really isn't rough but once you get into the unmaintained area with the natural grasses you can lose your ball in a hardbeat. Along with the severe links rough and the strong crossbreezes, this course can challenge any golfer and is well worth the greens fee.

Played today, Aug. 26, as a last hoorah for the summer and loved the new course. The design team did a great job with the course. The ocean breeze created a challenge but it was still playing fair. greens were in great shape and ran very true. Customer service was great and the marshalls were everywhere making sure we enjoyed our round. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back. Maybe for 36 in a day?

Course was in very good shape! First time playing since the redesign, and i loved it. wind was up and made it challenging but wasnt too strong to make it unplayable. fairways were firm and lush and greens were in great shape but a little on the slow side. i will definitely go back. lookin forward to county championships at the course. should be fun!

Course was in good shape fairways, greens, and most teeboxes were lush. Some tees, mainly on the par threes were chewed up quite a bit with divots. service was exeptional. first time playing this course and i will definitely play again in the near future.

Played Thursday June 19 and the course was in good shape. The fairways were in decent shape and the greens weren't all that bad. I have definitely seen worse. All the sand in the bunkers I found were soft. Not all that fluffy, but not bare at all. The only complaint I have is that all the water tanks were completely empty. I find it ridiculous that all the water tanks on the course were completely empty on a 90 degree day! The beverage cart lady was nice and gave us some free waters as she could not do anything about the situation. Overall though, a very enjoyable day.

Played on 2/27 and enjoyed myself. fairways and rough were ok but tee boxes were horrible. not much grass on any of them tough to find a place to put your tee in the ground. greens were a little bumpy but were rolling just fine. number 6 green though was at least twice as firm as the rest on the course.

Played on 2/25, course was in o.k. shape. The greens have grown out and grass in some areas have grown faster than in others making for a bumpy ride. Overall good conditions other than the shaggy greens.
