Some of you may not like how I characterize the course to those I say "Tough!" This is how I saw it and how it played out for me. All this is subjective so you can either take my words with a grain of salt or hold it as gospel. The choice is yours.

Greens in decent shape. One green (9) I believe was a bit thin and 10 was bumpy but overall the ball held it's line and the speed was moderate at best. Fairways are lush. Rough is thick and sticky almost two ball deep in places. Sand in bunkers are OK perhaps a little more sand but overall decent shape. Tee boxes are flat and lush.

Pace of play was just around 4 hours. Would have been faster but we were the last group before twilight and had one or two groups ahead of us.

Best wishes to Terry and Mark (GM) who are moving on to bigger and better things. Good luck to Chris (AGM at Westchester) and Jack the incoming GM and Super respectively. I am sure they will do some great things with the place. As I told both Mark and Chris, there are two places I enjoy playing only because the playing conditions are consistent and the POP decent -- Westchester and Chester Washington.
