I went out here yesterday to use the UnderPar.com deal (36 holes for $129 on a weekend). Unfortunately, there was a big frost delay in the morning and that made things tough. Had a 7:30 tee time, but ... Continue »

Yes, those tours are very cool. Wish more courses would have these. I can't join the outing on Wednesday, but am going this Monday at 8.30 to check it out so that I won't be too jealous of you all! Come join if you want, 75 bucks on their site and can RSVP as a single.

Was checking out the Indian Wells website and came across their Course Tours. Must see if you plan on visiting them. Even shows elevation changes... totally awesome!!!! I feel almost like a pro evaluating a golf course on television!!!! [[Edited by ringworld on Monday May 18, 2009 7:01 PM]]

Hole # 18, 388 Yards, Par 4
On entering the tee complex, the player is greeted by a thunderous double-waterfall. This home hole sets up more as a strategist’s dream rather than for the bombs-away brigade. Not everyone will need a driver on this hole, but it’s important to hit this generous fairway. The hole doglegs fairly sharply left and the player is greeted by all sorts of streams, waterfalls, lakes and colorful extravaganza. A middle to short iron into the green brings birdie into play and allows for finishing hole drama.

Hole # 17, 438 Yards, Par 4
The 17th is set up to be a pivotal hole down the stretch. It’s a good length par 4 dogleg which again features the Eisenhower Mountain. There is water and a babbling brook and waterfall framing the green on the right. For those using long irons and woods for the approach, the left apron area becomes player-friendly and allows the player to reach the green without taking on the water and bunkers to the center and right of the green.
