This is the first time I have played this golf course. I have heard both good and bad in the past about this tract but recent capital improvements have seemed to take hold. Before going to any course I survey the course using Google Maps and Earth, this will give a historical look at the conditions of the course and will allow me to see problems and improvements - this course has appeared to recover from past flooding due to being built along a wash.
Golf Shop- Excellent, staff are attentive and even offered to allow us to play 27 if the course
was free. they gave us a tour of the improvements, and were very helpfull
Golf Carts- Great shape, new, kept their charge throughout the round, No sand/seed for divots.
Tees- Good shape - Level -
Fairways- Lush, and very receptive to shots, not to dry or wet, just right.
Sand- My only disappointment - Some bunkers are hard or packed dirt, some softer sand. Some were still wet from watering. My Big pet peeve are bunkers that have 1/2 inch of soft sand and hard packed dirt below (potential for wrist injuries) it's not like there isn't alot of sand available from the surrounding wash.
Rough- Consistent on most holes patchy on others - had a few bare hard dirt lies.
Greens - Above average to Good - recently punched so can't complain - will be good to very good in a few weeks.
Cost - Excellent $25 twilight (after 12pm) all you can golf
