I agree with funkyfurlong. Played yesterday Thursday 5/16/13, called Tuesday and made a 3:45pm tee time for 4. Got to the course and somehow our group was not in the system. Got down to the tee box where there were a couple groups waiting to tee off. Tee'd off after about 10 minutes of waiting and luckily the groups in front were playing at a good pace and we didn't have to wait again for the rest of the round. Holes 1 & 2 were punched and sanded, greens on the rest of the front were quick but a little bumpy and a lot of unfixed ball marks. Back nine greens were a little smoother but slower and still a lot of ball marks. The course did have a few sponsor signs up on a few holes so I think they had a tourney earlier in the day. Fairways were great and lush but a little on the soft side, rough was short but the ball would sit down, also rough was really soft and damp on the first hole. I was about 2 yards off the fairway and almost plugged it, ball was covered in mud but had no real issues after that. Sand was plentiful but had not been raked by anyone that had been in it prior. I have never seen that many traffic marks in sand since I started playing and of course I ended up in one bunker in an almost unplayable lie because of all the traffic. Waste areas were nice and firm. Tee boxes were flat but a little on the thin side and completely brown around the edges. Afternoon breeze felt good and adds some challenge to a few holes, paid $25 with course email special (I think it is only a $4 discount at that time of day) and is well worth it.
