Played yesterday, Monday, March 9. Called the starter around noon and he said he had an opening for a single at 1:20, perfect. Showed up a little early and he worked me in at 1pm. Played with some great guys, Marty, Chris and George. $46 to walk. POP the usual 4.75hrs. Acceptable for Nado, it just gets a lot of play.

Conditions good to great all around. Blue tees mostly level with adequate coverage. They were playing a little bit more forward than usual. Fairways were very good to excellent. Very good cushion and good amount of roll. No problems whatsoever. Just a joy to play from. Rough wasn't too penal, just an inch to inch and half long, so not much of a problem.

Even with some morning rain, the bunkers were just fine.

Greens were in good to great shape. Sneaky quick downhill. Got a little bumpy later in the day which is expected, but no huge complaints.

Customer service is always great. Sean/Shawn is a new starter and he's already fitting right in. Great guy. Proshop check in no problem. Beverage cart around twice. Always a treat to play Coronado. Highly recommend and it's a great walkable course.

Lucky day. Called the starter at 11:30 and he said he had an opening for a single at 12:07. Perfect!! Hot tailed to the course and walked right up to the first tee. $52 to walk. POP 4.25hrs. which is great for this place. Finished around sunset and I played 1&2 again in the dark.

Course is in good to very good condition.

Blue tees were ok. They were level. But had quite a bit of divot damage at the actual markers. Just tee it up about 1-2ft behind the markers and it was all good.

Fairways were absolutely perfect. Definitely the highlight of the course. Good roll, perfect cushion and great coverage. Super stoked to see these fairways like this.

Bunkers were just fine. No complaints.

Rough was juicy in spots, but fairly manageable for the most part. The whole course is looking healthy and lush right now.

Greens obviously held shots after the rains, but they were a little bumpy. But they still had some quickness to them. I bet in a week or two after they can dry out, these greens will be killer.

Service here is always spot on. Easy recommend.

walked on at 1:30 today, Saturday and got out fairly quickly. I have some good luck going out there as a single right before twilight. $61 to walk is not a great value in my opinion, but everything is so dang expensive now, I guess that's the way it is. Oh well, such an enjoyable day regardless of the price. POP was horrible on the front, 3hrs. Then it picked up on the back. Overall POP 5.25hrs.

Everything about the course is just above average right now. Nothing spectacular and nothing is in poor shape except the bunkers. Blue tees were all fairly level with decent coverage. Fairways were just fine, no bad lies and decent roll out and cushion. Traps were hard pan, beware. Rough isn't too penal. Greens were a little bumpy and average speed. Always an enjoyable round, but POP is slow and conditions are slightly above average.

Played 5/31/25 8:30 am POP 4.45 hrs. First time playing the course and enjoyed it. Some decent views of the bridge, city & bay. Course was in overall very good to great condition. Fairways had very good coverage. An occasional bad spot mixed around but never cause me any issues. Greens were in great shape. They looked and putted like carpet. Held shots well. I struggled with figuring the speeds out. It was most likely me, but some seemed really slow and others much faster. Front nine I struggled to get the ball to the hole and on the back I was blowing it past. Fairly typical tree lined layout. Back nine has a double dogleg par 5 that is almost a U shape. Cutting the corner does not help as much as you might think. Traps firm but in decent shape. Most tees in decent shape with some of them fairly beat up. POP started out fine with a under 2 hr. front even with a 5 some right in front of us and another a few holes in front of them. Back nine was hit and wait. The group in front of us was 1.5 holes behind. This course and policies can easily create 5+ hour rounds. $110 riding including a $25 booking fee. A fun course in good shape.

Snuck out yesterday afternoon, Sunday, May 4 at 2pm and walked right on. Starter paired me up immediately with a threesome of nice guys (Greyson, Andrew and Noah).

Course is in overall great shape. A few more weeks and these greens should be really nice after fully healing from aeration a few weeks ago.

Tees were all nice and level, they had us playing from the tips, must have been a men's club our some other event earlier because the blue tees were all the way back and the pins were tucked in some very precarious positions.

Fairways were darn near perfect! Great lies all day, I hit just about every fairway, so that helped a lot. Missed two fairways by about 2 feet each and the rough wasn't much of a problem.

Didn't find any bunkers, but they looked nice.

Greens as mentioned earlier were punched a few weeks ago and were still a little bumpy, but no huge complaints. They held shots very well and were at a medium to quick pace. In a couple of weeks, they should be awesome.

Customer service all good. No complaints. Saw the beverage cart once, but didn't partake as I BYOB. Starters are always great here.

$50 to walk on a Sunday is fair. POP was 4.5hrs, so that's a little better than normal. Seemed to move a good pace most of the day except for the normal backup on hole 5.

Easy recommend. Get out here if you can get a teetime or just walk on a single and pray for the best.

Snuck out around lunch time on Monday, Feb 10, and put my name on the wait list. Waited about 45mins and teed off at 1:10pm. Walking twilight rate $33 is a great value!!! Totally scored a great deal for a perfect teetime. We finished right around dark at 5:30pm, not bad POP overall at almost 4.5hrs. The front nine was a little slow and then the group in front of us dropped off, so the back played a little faster. Pretty much same conditions as a couple of weeks ago when I played. Fairways were awesome. Beautifully mown with adequate rollout and perfect cushion. Greens were a little bumpy, but they were still fairly quick and held shots very well. Teeboxes were decent and level, not much of a problem. They weren't perfect, but no big complaints. Rough was not very penal, just an inch longer than the fairways. I didn't find any bunkers but they all looked good. Customer service was great, the starter did an amazing job working me in. Really appreciate it. Easy recommend.

POP was the usual slow pace, finished in 5hrs. Typical as this course just gets a ton of play. Customer service is always great here.

Conditions were above average to very good. Teeboxes were a little chewed up on a couple of the par 3s, but they had the blues tees set all the way back for most of the holes and they were level and good.

Fairways were dialed in. Very good condition!! Mowed perfectly with good cushion and proper amount of roll. Quite a few divots, but I never had a bad lie all day. They looked great, too.

I found one greenside bunker on 15 and it was nice. Fluffy sand, no complaints.

I missed two fairways by a couple of feet both times, but the rough wasn't any problem, just about an inch longer than the fairways.

Greens were good to very good. They held shots perfectly. 5iron into hole 8 stuck in its own pitchmark to give you an idea. 8irons and any club shorter tended to back up a few feet. They putted smooth, no complaints. The recent rain the night before and morning of I'm sure contributed to this.

$61 to walk is a little steep, but I guess it's a great value compared to most other course in the area.

Highly recommend.

Yesterday’s afternoon round was at Coronado. In two words LOVED IT! I’ve had this course on my to Play list for a few years now and I finally got out yesterday afternoon. The course did not disappoint. The views are awesome. Starting off on the first few holes with the Coronado Bridge in the background as well as the Naval ships. From there you continue through the flat, easily walkable parkland style layout that has some water hazards mixed in to keep the aesthetics flying while navigating mostly straight forward holes until you get to the back nine which has a couple of strategic holes including the horseshoe par 5 which even though I took the long way around on the outside, I nearly claimed the OGBC back from Long4par!! But not to be this time. From there you circle back to the bay and follow the water (as in the water is 10’ from the edge of the fairway) back in to the clubhouse. Views of the marina are plenty full. Condition wise, the course is in excellent shape tee to green. Greens are modest in size and undulations. Enough to keep things from being boring, but mild enough to let beginners have a fair shot at a two putt. They rolled very smooth at a medium to medium fast pace. Fairways were great. Lush and green throughout along with offering good roll out on drives. Bunkers had plenty of sand in them and tee boxes were nice and level. Price was very reasonable especially given the location, views, and playing conditions. I will definitely play this course again!! I took plenty of pictures which I will upload in a day or two!!

Walked on yesterday, Memorial Day, around 12:40pm and got right out at 1:10pm. I seem to have good luck on holidays and Sundays walking out and getting off the first tee fairly quickly. Played with 3 high school kids on the Coronado golf team. Good bunch of young men.

Everything is in good shape right now. No complaints on any aspect of the course. Greens held shots well and were a good speed with no bumpiness. Teeboxes were fairly level with minimal divot damage, no problems finding a spot for the peg. Fairways were excellent. Provided some decent roll and nice cushion. I didn't have a bad lie all day. Rough seemed to be up more than usual. Had a couple of thick lies in some spots. I didn't find any bunkers, so can't comment on those, but they looked ok from what I could tell. Service was just fine all around. Bev. cart was out and about. POP was right at 5hrs. which is fairly common. Lots of waiting as usual. $59 non-resident rate to walk is getting a little steep, but it's still worth it. Always recommend.
