Just heard Gil Hanse was named the architect for the new golf course to be built in Rio for the 2016 Olympics. He was also just named the architect for the redesign at Doral. Pretty cool that he was also the architect for Rustic Canyon, one of the favorite courses of the members of this site. I'...

My previous tip about a knock down shot was meant for hole eight.

I like to play a low trajectory knock down shot to this green. If you trust you ball flight, a ball to the back of the green will feed back and to the players left. A quality shot gives a good chance for birdie. If you go long, up and down will be next to impossible.
