It had been a little over two years since I last played "Ike". Despite the dormant fairways the course looks nice. The traps are particularly in great shape!! I found the course in general now plays e... Continue »

COURSE STILL RATES AS THE TOUGHEST IN THE LA/OC AREA. STILL NEEDS SOME TIME FOR THE NEW GREENS TO BE RIGHT. FAIRWAYS ARE BROWN BUT EVERYWHERE YOU GO NOW ARE THE SAME. PLAYS SHORTER NOW WITH THE ROLL ... Continue »

The fairways were shocking. It was like playing off hay. Not what I had expected when I paid for $100+ round. Don't go there until summer rolls around and the grass turns to green.

Played 1/26/07 Course is very nice. Greens are very fast with a lot of hidden breaks. the 400+ yard par 4s play a little shorter and the 300+ yard par 4s play very long. Great challenging Course!!!!!

Played on 01/25 and must say if they spent as much money as rumored, couldn't tell where it was spent. Yes a lot of brush has been removed, easing the course, not necessarily improving it. The green... Continue »

Finally made it to the 'new' Ike. Some nice changes, nothing drastic. The course does play much friendlier (must have a new rating) due to removal of deep grass in outlying areas. Errant balls are ... Continue »

Played 12/3 sunday... course in great shape. Greens are very fast and undulating. Bunkers are very soft... i had a buried lie with a 5 wood. Easier since they took out alot of the brush.

The Ike is back. Same 'ol same 'ol. Darn hardest course here in SoCal. I think the course is just as good as it was before. Maybe that's the point. Do the renovation and make it just like it was. Brus... Continue »

It is fantastic indeed. The course is beautiful and plays much friendlier. You don’t have to bring a half dozen (if not a dozen) of balls anymore. The conditions from tees to greens are near perfec... Continue »
