Great little course. $10 bucks TW to hone your iron mid-short irons and short game. Designed by the late Ted Robinson Sr., the course has character. It also has Kikuya rough in abundance surrounding every green. Step back to the tips and on most holes you are hitting mid-iron and at times long iron to postage stamp greens. Par 58 rated at 58.4, it will test you. Something else that’s nice, the place is hardly ever crowded during the week. I played with NICKSQUIRE1 and we spent 20minutes just practicing our chipping to a devilish front pin placement on hole 8 – it was a blast and relaxing to say the least. So what of the playing conditions, with exception to the tee boxes which I concur with Nick are abysmal and sand traps which need new sand; Very Good. Greens rolled relatively quick and smooth and the greenside turf, excellent. Lake Lindero Country Club is not where you want to play your Saturday morning 18 but in the category of TW relaxing golf, this place rocks. Side note: I missed every green in regulation with exception to hole 7 – 276 par 4, stuck it 20 feet for eagle from the tee and canned the putt!!! What a crazy game we call golf.

First time playing here even though it's maybe 3 miles away. A good little course to work on your short game. It's nine holes with 2 completely different sets of tees, so it can play as a 9 or 18 hole executive course. Seven par 3's and two short par 4's.
Hole #5 is an excellent par 3, something you would expect on a Par 72, 6800 - 7000 yard course. Long, guarded by water on one side and bunkers on the others with a multi tiered green.
The greens are small, usually humpbacked and reasonably quick. The traps are small but well placed even if not well maintained. The only real negative was the tee boxes, some of the worst I have ever seen on a golf course anywhere. If you are going in with the mindset of working on your short iron game out of rough or hardpan, then these tees would be an excellent place to practice from.

Love this course. i've played it since i was a kid. It's not your typical 9 hole muni. It's pretty narrow with some interesting hole designs. This course will keep you honest. Not very forgiving either way. A hard slice or hook will undoubtedly end up in a backyard, rooftop, or living room... The 5th hole is a challenge without question. If you don't hit it straight, you're done. A great course to work on your medium and short irons and definitely worth the price of admission..

This is what I would call an executive type course mostly par 3's with a couple 4's on the front and back. I like the way most of the holes are set up. You need to make some shots here. Their are narrow areas and accuracy is important. The 4th hole is a neat hole. You are 247 away so drive it right. Wrong! The tee boxes are set back left in a narrow area with a shot over a ravine to a fairway. Once in the fairway back over a little creek to the green. I really enjoyed the course it's not to busy so you can get hit a few balls and work on some shots. The tee boxes were OK could have been marked better yardage wise. The greens were in great shape slightly slow. But they were punched about a month ago and shop attendant said they were letting the grass grow a little before mowing. Still greens were nice and not to slow. The sand could use some help. Prepare to walk here no carts and you are going to go on a walk. The course is cut through a housing track. I would definitely recommend the course if you want to work on your approach shots. This is not your ordinary short course with a bunch of holes in the 100 to 120 yardage and 1 or 2 170 to 190 holes. Their is a variety of holes yardage wise and the 4 par 4's are fun holes. The guy working the counter was nice and helpful. They've even got a nice bar area this always a plus with me. Complaint wise I like the yardage at the tee boxes marked clear and the par 4 area fairways could use help in this area as well. A couple holes I was a little confused as to were the tee box was but found without to much searching. Would like to see this marked better. But I'm definitely going back.
