First time played here . It is a challenge course and Green is fast but ture . Cart path only today , so pace is slow . It tooks us 5 hours finish it because there are two teams is prettry slow before us . I strongly suggest the cart should be equipped with GPS because there are quite a few blind short . GPS will make it clear and less guessing .

Robinson Ranch was holding a 10 Year Anniversary special today. $45 to play with all amenities (including lunch). Had a great time. Place was in great shape for the winter. Everything was really firm and the "rough" was non-existant because the Bermuda is dormant right now. Greens were rolling extremely well. Every putt seemed to roll true. The place was crowded thanks to the cheap rate, but we still played in four and a half hours. Staff is always courteous and you're met at your car by someone with a cart. I highly recommend the Robinson Ranch experience. Get a deal on golfnow.com so you don't have to pay rack rates ($112).

Played Sunday 2/14 (at) 10:50 tee time. Pace was a little slow on the front 9 but soon picked up. Love this course, fun layout, great views and always in fantastic condition. Must keep the ball stright off the tee on this course. Several lost balls a bunch of 3 putts capped by a birdie on the 18th made for a fun day. Only minor compliant was the tee boxes are little fluffy due to the recent rains. Overall great golf experience.

Played 12/28 on a cold and windy day. Let me start with a significant annoyance ( I know the RR guys read these reviews). This is the 3rd time in a row that I have made a reservation on the Valley course and got placed on the Mountain. I actually made a point when the reservation was made to confirm that the time was on the Valley course and was told that "yes, we have you on the Valley course". Was fortunate that the course was not booked too heavy and was still able to get out on the Valley.

Course conditions were typical RR. Smooth and fast greens and lush fairways. Unfortunately, I saw that many of the traps were in good condition......

Got stuck beind a rediculously slow group of 3 guys and a single woman. The single lady was always on the green waiting for the rest of the group to catch up, normally a 5 minute wait. We had 2 groups waiting on the par 3 #11 tee waiting for the group to clear. Never saw a ranger and the group got to be 4 holes behind. the single lady eventually left the 3 guys behind. Ended up playing a 5.5 hour round on a Monday morning!!

Played on 10/06/09, a couple of weeks after aerification. It was cart path only :-( and greens had not healed in :-(. It should be much better in a couple of weeks. As for the fairways, well, they were as nice as I have ever seen them. Great lies, lush conditions, mowed to about 3/4". Greenside sand is great, while the fairway bunkers are crap. That is the way they have been keeping them on both the Valley and Mountain courses for as long as I can remember. We started as a threesome late in the day (about 3 p.m.) and finished 17 holes by about 6:30. It was getting dark and we decided to pass the foursome ahead of us on the 17th and play out on 18. Great pace of play until these guys just sort of jumped in ahead of us (probably at the turn when the group we originally had been following bailed). They weren't too slow until the 14th hole when we had to wait a little. All in all not a bad afternoon of golf.

I played in the GK outing on August 20th. The temperature was near 100 but not overbearing. The course was in surprisingly good shape for late August. Tee boxes had some unrepaired divots. Fairways were playable with most divots repaired with sand/seed mix. Errant tee and fairway shots that found the rough, ESA, and O.B. most certainly required a ball drop! Sand bunkers were inconsistent with some being wet underneath and others playable. The greens were medium fast but putted true even with unrepaired ball marks.

The GK staff arranged another great outing and the Robinson Ranch staff were very accommodating throughout the day. The facilities and clubhouse are set up nicely for groups such as our on-line community. In addition to the golf, the course provided scenic vistas on many of the holes, first class service by the staff, and a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy it! I would recommend this course to anyone.
