For my buddy's 40th, his wife is treating him and me to a day at pelican, but I don't know which course is the better for the special day (North or South). If you could only play one course, which would it be? Thanks

This was posted on behalf of: GreatNorthern87, Irvine I agree that both courses are top notch for all of Southern California, but I'm left wondering one thing. How does the South Course get ranked as better playing conditions than the North? Conditions are just that, not based on views or scenery...

Split the sand traps over the canyon. Doing so leaves an 8 iron over the next canyon onto a friendly green. Slicers will be 3 wood to the next fairway then lob wedge.

Oh mu God!! Pull a muscle off the tee. If you make the hill, all down hill for another 50 yards leaving a 7 iron blind shot but do-able.
