Excellent course! My 13 yr old son and I played the Celebrity Course two years ago and it was fantastic. The Players course however was just wonderfull and even better. Staff was was wonderfull!! We were playing in a tournament and had ordered lunch from the snack bar, when we were asked to catch up with the foursome in front of us. We were still waiting for our lunch order and staff volunteered to bring it to us while we played the next hole! Wow! That made an impression on my son and made me feel special. Even though both the Celebrity and Players course is top notch. I relized while driving home, that the reason I love playing there, is how well the staff takes care of there guest. I highly recommend this place. It worth the price and your time to go and play there.

Excellent practice/warm up fac, good solid layout from any tee you want, fun, challenging golf course. Clubs and ball washer, cooler and GPS on carts difficult to read, but sprinkler head distances for traditionalists. Great F&B at both grills. golfnow.com $59. Troon managed so you know what to expect. Definitely returning.

This is, no doubt, a top-notch facility and the course is ideally maintained. Is it the "best" course in the Palm Springs area? For my money, it's not, as I find courses like Desert Willow are more memorable - I'd say 1/2 of the holes were compelling and interesting while the others were straightforward yet still enjoyable. The last two holes are routed to the other side of the wash/basin and in doing so are next to the road and the hotel - this wasn't in keeping with the prior 16 holes and it was sort of a "strange" finish.

Would I play it again? Absolutely. Although next time around I'm going to try the other track which is reportedly more scenic.

When I first walk into their clubhouse, I was totally floored... super nice facility! They have a Callaway Performance Center which looked pretty high tech and thorough. Their washroom even had a strange waterfall in front of the mirror at the sinks. The course conditions were amazing. The greens were super fast with lots of deceiving undulations. A fun and challenging track. The GPS on the cart was nice as a first time player at the course. We finished in 4 hours, 40 minutes. I'd definitely play this course again. I birdied the first hole by placing my approach 1" from the hole. Great start!

played opening day 10/22 Everything about this place is 1st class,from the moment you drive up to the club cleaning at the end of your round everything is about customer service tough driving course so bring your game, scenery will compensate for the odd missed shot, course was great the fairways were better the carpet i have in my house, greens were perfect, slow, because it was opening day, beer girl was available every 3rd hole, a golfing experience second to none , I'm saving up to go back.

Played this course both days this past weekend, little tougher layout than the Celebrity course. Need to work the ball to score low here, great shape and super service. Noticed a huge change in service and attitude since Troon took it over, they are happy to see you and do everything possible to ensure you have a great time. Highly recommend it, play it in the summer before the winter rates set in.

Played 7/27/09. Course is in excellent shape. Service from the IW staff is first class from the moment you arrive to the time your bags are loaded to your car. This makes for a very enjoyable overall experience. Only complaint is the 114 deg weather for this time of the year, but I guess the cheap $50 rate makes up for it.

Played 7/24. TIGHT!! You better hope that you can hit the ball straight on this course because if you miss the fairway you mind as well just kiss that ball goodbye. High thick grass and dense rough line each and every hole waiting for that slightly errant shot you are about to hit. But the customer service is excellent and the conditions were the best I've seen for July anywhere in the desert.
