Position is much more important than distance off the tee. A hybrid or iron well off to the right side is the best play. Avoid the huge swale and bunkers on the left as both are nightmare approach shots. Best chance of getting a short iron close is from the fairway on the right. The green is deep and slopes away from the golfer. Landing a ball on the middle or even the front of the green is enough club to reach a back pin location. Green almost always very firm. Most golfers will be putting back toward the front of the green after their iron stops rolling.

You HAVE to stay well right of the lake off the tee. It is a longer carry over the end of the lake that it appears and any shot close will likely bounce in the lakes direction. Trust my experience on both of these! Second shots to the left side provide a better approach angle to most pin locations.
