Played Wed at 9am. No one out there. Passed a 4some on 10 and played 19 (yes 19) holes in 2 1/2 hours as a 2 some. Caught a group on 7 and we played 16 twice. Although the greens have some areas that are being repaired it does not affect play. I thought they rolled very well. No starter but very few groups out there. Bev girls very good and around a bunch. Iknow some of the reviewers don't like this track cuz of the berns. But play it a few times and you will manage your game better and like the course as much as I do.

Played at 9:30 on a Sunday morning for $50 Holiday Special. Cart staff. pro shop, restaurant and bev cart were all excellent. No starter and no marshal on the course. 3some in front of our 4some hole ... Continue »

Played at 9:30 on a Sunday morning for $50 Holiday Special. Cart staff. pro shop, restaurant and bev cart were all excellent. No starter and no marshal on the course. 3some in front of our 4some hole or 2 behind all day. They played in 4 1/2 hours but we still waited on everyshot. But that was the only negative all day. Course was in good shape. Greens rolled well a little slow. Lots of un-repaired ball marks. Bev cart Tracy was awesome and came around at least 6 times. I like this course a bunch and will be back soon.

Played Summerly today and although I like the course very much, the fairways were very slushy probably due to overwatering and poor drainage. Letting carts on the very wet fairways only ruins the course. The staff should not allow the carts to drive through these areas. Several times I've had to move my ball a few yards away where I was not standing in casual water. Other than that, the greens were slow but in good condition. The staff is wonderful and customer service is key here.

The course was really wet, I mean soaked. (I guess they don't want it burning out once we get some hot weather?) I thought the course was in nice shape, but the greens, while looking quick were very slow, too slow for my taste. Two observations: The holes all "run together" meaning they are so similar that it just feels redundant, like I'm plaing the same hole over and over, with different lengths. The greens have great potential, if they would speed them up, it would be very interesting. The course is rated way more difficult than it plays. Everyone in our group shot well under their index, which is rather rare, and we all agreed we did not play all that great???? Lastly my compliments to the staff. They were probably the most friendly and accomodating of ANY golf course I have played. Well Done Summerly!

I had a plan before going to play at the Links and I stuck to it. Following the helpful hints on the website, I carefully negotiated the fairways and found the undulating greens slow for this mornings' round. The course is a great challenge but it absolutely has to be played more than once to get a feel for how its laid out.
By having the company of two youngguns who had twice previously played it,I had general perceptions of what lines to take off teeboxes. There are no highlands here.
Everything lays below some imaginary grade. I can see where it could present golfers with some horrible lies.
The lack of bushes or trees makes it hard to "laser" for proper distances. The on board GPS is basic and really should be upgraded but then they couldn't get the 6bucks
for the yardage book. (Sorry-cheap shot).
All of you with sky-caddie type toys are in good shape.
I have to drop a dime on "Mike" in the C-house. After accepting my pay for play, he didn't give me any direction to take a cart or which way the warm up facility was. A little disappointment for an otherwise beautiful round of golf. RudeDog

This course is relatively dry. very difficult to hit ball out of dried out marsh area. watch out for burns in middle of fairways. overall conditional very good.

Course was in very good shape, it was links style lush. the fairways have all greened up, new growth is in, some unsanded divots. Darn those burns!!!

The greens were firm, did not hold many shots unless they were soft floaters. Putted true and slow to med pace, the starter mentioned to us that they were slower than usual. Too many unfixed ball marks though. Customer service was excellent, from the cart being brought out to us in the parking lot, the coffee shop service in the morning, the starter and marshal during the round, and the attractive and friendly cart girl. Shot another decent round (for me anyway). It was an enjoyable outing. Would give it a solid 8.

I hate this course! Ok, I hate the burns! d%mn these burns! How does one hit a great drive down the middle and still get in a burn!!!! This golf course was torture to me. GPS on the carts have no maps so you never know when trouble starts or ends. It will say a yardage to a burn, but if it goes diaganol, then what's the point? Greens had a lot of ball marks on them. Rough was ok, but other places were bad. I had to hit a mud shot. Fairways were nice, when there is no slope to a burn. Shot terrible here today, as took quite a few penalties cuz of stupid burns. Did I mention I hate this course? Haha, never torturing myself again here.
