Played today in a foursome teeing off at 9:40. Paid $78 per person. We began on time. We played from the blue tees and got around in 4 hours. We got behind a slow group on 10, they must have been confused on the holes because we saw them on the range and they teed off after us, but they let us play through on 11. This was my first time playing the course, which was a factor of distance, cost and reviews of slow greens. I loved the course. Great layout in which some prior knowledge would have been nice because many of the holes are intimidating from the tee.

The tees were generally flat. The fairways and rough were lush. The sand traps were okay - one or two could have used some more sand. Best of all, the greens were nice. The starter said they were about 10 stimp but I don't think they were that fast. They were not slow though and I found them to roll true although difficult to read. There were quite a few unrepaired ball marks but there were no bare spots on the greens that I saw. It was 104 degrees by the time we finished (according to the car temp reading) but there was water every four holes, there was a half-way house and we saw the cart lady 2-3 times. We had a great time. Mother's Day traffic coming home was brutal but it was worth it.
