This course is really nice and challenging for golfers of all levels. Accuracy off of the tee is very important because OB comes into play all around the course. The rough is rather thick and causes r... Continue »

It's a dog left right with long dogleg bunker and pond right next to the bunker at the turn. The wind affects the ball off the tee, 2nd shot even more so. Big hitters should be able to clear part of the bunker if the wind isn't blowing, not sure about all of the bunker, not likely if it's blowing. I've seen it as much as 4 clubs worth after 12n. Tee shot placement is important, it's even more important to flight the ball if able, to stay out of the wind and realize a reasonable leave for a challenging 2nd shot, especially if the pins in the back left narrow quadrant. Turf is soft in the front of the green so bouncing up on to the green is a gamble. Due to dramatic contours, it's plays somewhat like an island green. It's can be very costly to miss this green in any direction.

Wind is usually out of the left into the players face on the tee. Benign and it plays less due to downhill; if the winds up I've seen it play much longer making it important to flight the ball.
