The overall condition of the course is awful.

Tee boxes were just recently tended to, which infused a sense of freshness to an otherwise dull course.

If not for the expectation that fairways are generally on the way to the green, you wouldn't know they were there. It looks more like a huge lawn that get's mowed every so often.

The Greens were at one point recently in great shape, that's no longer the case. Somebody once wrote that you don't want to "find the speed" of the greens for fear that you may blast the ball once you play on a true green. This is true. Case in point, 6 foot uphill putt with a slight break to the left. Great stroke that should have gone straight in or left me within a couple of inches, goes terribly wrong and stops over a foot short and almost six inches off. Yes, I'm no pro but it doesn't take a pro to witness my ball hop several times in an almost zig zag direction and be robbed of it's direction and inertia because somebody took their dirt bike to the green the night before.

Bunkers? Two of them. One (6th hole) is under construction and looks like a mound of dirt (at a funeral) convered with a tan tarp. The other (9th hole) faces away from the action but might as well be filled with concrete, plays that way.

Driving range looked nice at one point, now resembles my "fairway" description above.

Chipping zone, ehh. It's alright. Steer clear of the moors on one end though.

Putting green? At one point beautiful. Might be the best conditioned piece of earth at this place.

Price? Almost priceless. 10$-13$ (might vary - cheaper with coupons, etc) for 9 during the week ($3-5$ replay). 15$-19$ on the weekend for 9 or 18 (again, cheaper with coupons).

All walking unless you're 60+. Great views of the Baldy Mountains at times. Lots of shade. Did I mention how cheap it was during the week? It's what keeps me from laughing at the thought of going here.
