I didn't have high expectations given all the rain last night but was very shocked that this course really didn't show any signs of the rain. It used to be that any rain would turn this into a swamp but all the work these guys have done have really paid off. There were a couple of wet spots but nothing like before. Greens were punched a couple of weeks ago and have grown in nicely. Now if they can just mow them they'll be fantastic. They were playing very soft obviously. I was in one trap and again I was shocked that it wasn't hard packed from the rain, it was pretty fluffy. Fairways and rough were in good shape too. Obviously the rough is more keeping the ball in play and out of the canyons but around the greens there was some thick stuff. Good course for $40 and finished in a little over 4 hours. I think the course was empty due to the weather. The foursome ahead of us probably finished in 3 1/2 hours since they were in carts. I'll be looking to come back here soon.
