Played here on 4/28/2012. Had a coupon where I paid $59.00 for two w/cart. Teed off at 8:55. Staff were pleasant from the Pro Shop during check-in, to the starter, and the cart girl. Of one note: At the 18th hole, there were 3 guys there to clean your clubs...I advised them not to mess with hubby's clubs, but mine were okay to clean, and my son indicated it was okay to clean his... The 3 young men walked away and didn't even clean our clubs. Oh Well...back to the course review.
Fairways were wonderful; the recent rains have done their job.
Bunkers were TERRIBLE; may as well hit off the cart path.
Tee boxes are uneven and a little shaggy, but not horrible to the point you can't tee off.
Looks like they have put some elbow grease into course improvements with a little paint here and there and new tee box markers.
Greens were VERRRRRRY fast to medium fast. Some had small punch holes as it looked like some greens had just a little diseased areas. Pin placement on a downhill will cause major frustration factor if you miss even an inch.
Pace of play was good...we moved right along with minimal wait time.
Saw the cart lady twice, and she was very pleasant and courteous.
Other than the bunkers and shaggy tee boxes, we (my husband, son, nephew and his cousin) truly enjoyed the round.
Worth what we paid for the golf coupon.
Note: as the day wore on the back-up at the start was evident.
Again, an enjoyable track with challenges, excellent fairways, and tough/fast/greens.
