Teed off here for round 2 around 745AM. The starter had me start on the back nine to avoid the women group and after a little zigzagging finished with a 2:15 POP. Overall this is a short course located in a senior community with receptive hole templates and green complexes. The most challenging hole is probably the Par 5 14th which doglegs left around some trees and are probably the only course features you will need to play around on the entire course. The greens roll smooth and true. The fairways and rough have lush turf coverage with some minor dormant spots that still played lush. The tee boxes had good coverage with minimal bare spots. Overall, the expected conditions one would come to expect for a Palm Springs senior community golf course. The best feature and knock on this course is the length. At under 5,500yds from the tips, the course can be a great confidence builder for some while not being a real regulation course for others. The price is a little higher during peak season, but will be a good twilight deal in the summer.

First of all this is a short course , real short in fact. Therefore it is gonna confuse some when I say Its one of the funnest rounds of golf you can play. Its got its challenges and there are definitely some holes that seemed like they squeezed in a hole on some extra land they discovered at the end of making a golf course but it really is fun! The maintenance of this place is really 2nd to none , really. The staff is all great. The greens aren't fast but it actually seems like they deploy staff to fix ball marks because they are always smooth. The fairways are near perfect in my opinion and only once did I find myself in a dodgy lie just off the 3rd green. Like many long hitters the part of my game that needs the most work is the short game , this course provides plenty of chances to work on it but enough holes to hit driver , wood or long iron that you never get bored. After my first visit I left the course thinking I'll play it again and now that I've played it 5-6 times I'm still saying "I'll play it again ". Great value $24, I've met some good golfers out there and have had some low rounds to make the return date sooner rather than later. Don't hate it, play it

A Groupon deal of two players for $55 (including post-round drinks) brought sixpez and I out here Sunday morning, 11/9. We were seemingly first off the tee at about 6:20. The course is in good shape. Greens, fairways, rough, and sand were all in consistently good shape. The tee boxes were not quite as nice with lots of divots on some tees. The greens are firm and fast, the kind that feel almost like there's a crust on the top layer that keeps the ball rolling.

Layout-wise, this is a very short course with a few quirky holes and many straightforward holes. It's the kind of course that will allow low numbers and you'd better go way low to avoid raising your index. I thought it was pretty fun and had a nice, friendly vibe of a senior/membership course and community.

This was our Sunday morning warm-up round as an inexpensive and convenient option while in town. We bought a Groupon deal that ended up being around $27 a player and it was well worth that as it also included a drink (beer or soda). We started around 6:30 and were the first ones on the course, so we enjoyed our own quick pace.

The course was in good condition overall. Not really a "pristine" contoured look here, but good playability. Tee boxes and fairways a bit shaggy at times, especially when wet early in the morning. Rough spotty in some places, but mostly good. Greens quite firm and rolling smooth at medium/slow-ish speeds. I don't remember being in a bunker, so no comments there.

This is a fine little course that's a good fit for the senior community its in. It's very short and pretty basic. A few tight tee shots and one really funky par-4 (the 6th I think), but mostly pretty straightforward and open so you can be aggressive if you want to just have fun. For out-of-towners, I wouldn't recommend it as there isn't really anything too distinctive about it. For locals, it's good for an inexpensive, fun round.

Played Los Prados for the first time in February 2014 for a free birthday round and was in Las Vegas again so played it twice 10/20 and 10/21/14. Needless to say I enjoy this course and it's one of the most reasonably priced in the area. The $38 greens fee includes a cart and you are really treated like the private club it has been. Brand new carts with a good GPS made a nice initial impression. The course was in really nice shape, green and lush with the greens rolling true. Our only problem was that the rough in places made finding a ball off the fairway a little difficult. From what I heard, that was due to the recent overseeding in September.

This track winds through a gated community only about 10 minutes from the Texas Station and Fiesta casinos at the North end of Las Vegas. Even though the area is generally pretty flat, there are some elevation changes in the mix to keep it interesting. Definitely a fun track and well worth the $$...

Beautiful course, great staff. A little on the short side but worth a shot. Got windy while we were there. Just have to compensate.

Played on Sunday, 9/12. Found a $25 tee time and was told there were 4 temp greens and re-seeding would start the next day. Thought it would be terrible. For the price I could over look the temp greens, which were all on the front 9. The remaining 14 holes were in great shape and we played in just under 4 hours. Los Prados is short, but requires accuracy, as it runs through a neighborhood. Some tee boxes were uneven. The rough varied, from thin to thick. Some of the best sand in Vegas. A fun course if you know what you are getting from the start. Put away the driver (except for 4 or 5 holes) and you'll still hit short irons and wedges into the greens.
