Played in the late afternoon on Thursday, 4/24/08, on a sunny windy day. Played the Desert and Mountain nines. Resort-style course - conditions were generally good with dry, firm fairways and greens. Rough was bushy in some places, but I stayed out of the sand. Greens rolled well but weren’t real fast. Desert nine was pretty boring, Mountain has some interesting holes. Most are pretty straight through housing areas – no big doglegs or real elevation changes. No yardage book – GPS in the carts, but a lot of the screen wasted on advertisements, and the ‘green’ view always has the pin in the center of the green, so it’s a waste of time. Many sprinklers marked. We didn’t get a bathroom key on our cart key ring, so visited some of the local trees – sure the neighbors appreciated that! Saw a ranger once, cart girl a couple times early in the round. Not enough water out for players. OK, but there are many better choices in the Vegas area.

The greens were in good shape. The putts rolled out well and pretty true. The fairways were also in good shape and there was plenty of roll. Very pleased with the over all service and course conditions. This course was worth the money.
I booked my tee time through Stand-By Golf Las Vegas and got a good deal for a non-resident.

The course is definitely worth the money if you are a Clark County resident. Overall, the course was easy (Mountain,Valley), although there were a few challenging holes (#3 and #9 on Mountain). The course was in great shape despite the obvious heavy play it receives. We played on a Monday afternoon and it took 5 hours to complete. On a scale of 1-10, overall the course would receive a 9 from me.

I scheduled a tee time for a round on Tuesday 11/6. The girl indicated that there was a snafu and my tee time had been cancelled. She was not very helpful in attempting to correct this snafu. She also indicated that there was a tournament going on and that I would have to play the same 9 twice! This was not communicated when I made the tee time and was unacceptable. Again the girl was not helpful. She should be retrained or let go! When we finally got out, the golf course was in excellent shape and the holes were varied and interesting. A real shotmakers course, you have to hit to spots and not be wild. I did play the Mountain 9 after the first nine one the Valley and it was very nice and enjoyable. The course is an excellent value for the money.

This course is seems pretty easy, or i was having a really good day. Dont play the white tees (blue at this course) You will have a good if you hit the fairways But short yardage in all the time got kinda old. Good deal with the greenskeeper disc. But you will get better service at McDonalds than in thier resturaunt, first guy in proshop good, after 18 there was some young girl, apariently the dont teach manners in school any more. All of the marshalls and the starter were very good. Cool course but it will be my only trip there due to their staff. Since they are semi-private don't think they will mind. Play the course just beware of the staff. Guys at the Bag drop were great also to give credit where it is due!!

The course was in good shape when we played it (9-5-07). The greens were excellent and very fast. The fairways were cut and very good shape. The rough was very good also ( 1'to 2'). Overall the course was in good shape for this time of the year.

Played on Tuesday 1/2. Course is beat up from the amount of play it is getting a lot of divot marks, greens are hard as a rock they just have never softened up since they have been put in. i like the layout but course has to recover from immense play for me to go back. Customer service is very good at this course.

Played Silverstone on Monday December 11th 2006. Noon Tee-off for the gkorg rate of $45. Good service from the moment I got out of the car. Concierge was there to put clubs on the cart and answer typical first timer questions. Club House staff were professional and directed us to the cart and range. The starter gave good course knowledge. We set off on the Desert and then the Mountain Courses. Typical desert play with homes on generous setbacks. Hand watering of plant features was going on all around the course, so there was some waving of hands back and forth letting 'em know to duck. Fairways were firm , mowed tight to give a bit of bounce and roll. The rough was lush. Greens were beat by golfers not repairing their marks. A little greens etiquette would give this course big points. Overall, the course was fun and not overly difficult. Interestingly, the Mountain course has the longest par 5 in Nevada. Even on this hole the houses didn't get hit by shanked shots!

Played on 3 July for local rate of $35. This course is usually very busy and the pace of play reflects it. However, today got around in about 3:45. The course is in decent condition and is a fair challenge. The greens rolled true but were somewhat on the slow side, as were the fairways, which seemed to need some mowing. Worth the money during the summer rates in the overpriced Vegas market. Very nice clubhouse.

Played 2 days ago. Greens are terrible with lots of unrepaired divot marks all over the place on every green. A couple of temporary of tee boxes because of an undergoing construction. Fairways are nice though. Will wait until everything is fixed and construction is finished before playing here again.

Played the Silverstone Desert and Mountain Courses on 11/26. The staff were most professional and the service was great. The courses were in great shape with many challenging opportunities. I would highly recommend this course and would play it again.

Enjoyed the course. It was in great condition for October, and the greens were some of the best around. Great service, and good company.

Played 9/17/05 on a sunny day with a light breeze blowing. Course is in a growing area of Vegas with construction going on in many places - margins of the course suffer from building-related activities - hopefully, when buildout is finished and revegetation can be implemented, the course will be more visually arttractive. As it currently is, it's a flat resort-style course with no distinguishing characteristics. Many shortish par 4s and most holes had ample hitting areas. Fairly large greens, some with significant contours, and all rolled very well. Nine out of 10 players apparently never fix their ball marks - greens looked like they had smallpox. Of course, that's not unique to any single course, only a comment on golfers in general. Saw the cart girl 5 to 6 times in 18 holes. OK for a relaxed round - but there are many equivalent values in Vegas closer to downtown or offering more hole variety - try Siena, Badlands, Legacy, or Revere.

I PLAYED AT TWILIGHT ON 9-9-05 FOR $35. AN EMAIL SPECIAL. THIS COURSE IS REALLY GOOD CONDITION. THEIR COURSE IS PLAYER FRIENDLY AND ALLOWS AN OCCASIONAL MIS-HIT TO OTHER FAIRWAYS. TEE BOXES ARE LEVEL AND LUSH. FAIRWAYS ARE MOWED TIGHT FOR LONG ROLLS AFTER A DRIVE. ROUGH IS CUT AT A 1-3 IN. AND CAN BE PLAYED OUT OF WITH NO PROBLEM. THEIR GREENS WILL HOLD SHOTS ON AN APPROACH HIT WITH SOME HEIGHT. GREENS ARE ROLLING VERY TRUE. VERY GOOD LAYOUT IT WILL CHALLANGE YOUR COMPLETE GAME, AND YOU WILL USE ALL YOUR CLUBS ON YOUR ROUND. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GOOD AND THE VALUE FOR WHAT I PAID IS EXCELLENT FOR THIS TRACK. I WOULD PAY HIGHER, BUT I DIDN'T HAVE TOO ! !

Great golf course, especially its impressive clubhouse. Course seems intimidating at first because of all the water features but it's very playable. Was there when there was a tournament but the staff was able to get everybody moving at a good pace.
