First, I know very well that this beloved course announced its closure. Drove by there yesterday and fairways of course were non existent beige pastures.
But, yes there's a but, the greens were intact and looking very healthy. The guy with me said the greens condition was a very good sign that there may yet be another life in store for RSM. I can't really think of another explanation. Can you?

That would be fantastic if RSM opened back up. The fact that they are keeping the greens alive gives us hope.

I drove by last week and noticed the same exact thing. Greens emerald green and looked maintained, but the rest of the course was golden brown.

The goal has always been long and straight! But since I can no longer hit them long, hopefully straighter could be achieved more than occasionally?
