but like I said, scour the internet for a discounted price in the week of... I'm sure you can find one.

My dad used to live in San Jose, so I can suggest a couple other possibilities. Cinnabar Hills in San Jose is pretty cool. They have 27 holes, too. Eagle Ridge in Gilroy is a fine course, also. Neither of these are up to the standards of Pasatiempo, but I really enjoyed both of them. I, personally, wasn't too crazy about Coyote Creek. It's right next to the highway, and it can get very windy if you don't get out early.

I second Cinnabar Hills as a great choice in the more affordable green fees.

Also has a mini-museum of collectibles displayed in the clubhouse.
