Sky Mountain a good bargain alternative and back nine has nice views of mountains and Virgin River gorge.

Sand Hollow gets all the press and is visually stunning.

Copper Rock brand new - haven't played.

Coral Canyon a fun layout but I've heard conditions have declined,

Green Spring the best bargain in the area.

St. George GC an uninspired muni.

Sunbrook has 3 very different 9s and is a fun play in any combination.

Ledges has 2 very different 9s - big views on the back 9.

Others in the area: haven't played

If I had 4 rounds to play:
-Sky Mountain
-Sunbrook
-Sand Hollow
-Green Spring

Haven't been to SG in many years. Lots of great golf there. Hope you have a great trip.

If you are staying in St. George overnight, try to stay at the Entrada and play the Snow Canyon course.

Ledges is one of my personal favorites, but you're right...two very different 9s.

Coral is a fun layout but is also two very different 9s. Not sure what the conditions are now, but in 2019 they weren't all that great in the middle of summer. if you get the Mesquite Golf Pass, I think you get a free round there, so that's why we went.

Sand Hollow is a nice course. I personally wouldn't classify it as one of the best in the area, I'd rather drive the 45 min down to Mesquite and play those courses if it were me. With that said, it is always in great shape. Don't wear white if you think you may hit the bunkers...the red sand is tough to get out (including shoes).

I concur with Entrada nothing like it except HI. Coral Cnyn if it is good shape. Sky Mt nice layout great scenery. Copper Rock very nice. Sand Hollow. Stop in Mesquite and play Wolfe for twilight rates. And if it gets to hot in S G go up and play Cedar Ridge 1 he N.

I'm not sure if Entrada is open. I think it's being redesigned by DMK, no?

Only one I've played is Sky Mountain. Really enjoyed it and recommend it. Next one I play will likely be Sand Hollow, including the nine-hole Links course.

QUOTED  I'm not sure if Entrada is open. I think it's being redesigned by DMK, no?

It would appear you are correct? Unless the worked fast

"When a golf hole offers options on how to play it, the game becomes so much more interesting," said McLay Kidd. "We want to increase those options at Entrada, allowing players to use their imagination, creativity and skills to play holes and attempt to score."

The ten-month project at the Troon-operated club is expected to begin in November 2020 and will include the replacement of irrigation and drainage systems and the renovation of the irrigation lakes. Greens will be redesigned and resurfaced with new bentgrass, while tees, fairways and rough will be re-grassed with ryegrass and bluegrass. Fairways will be recontoured, tees relocated and every bunker on the course replaced. The practice facility will also be renovated.

Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club was founded in 1996 and forms part of a retirement community. The course was originally designed by Johnny Miller and Fred Bliss and will close for five months of the project.

Hi Abbacat,
Ledges, Sand Hollow and Copper Rock (I just played there last week and left a review on this site). For the 4th, take a drive down into Mesquite and play Wolf Creek if you can get a time.

If you do happen to go to Mesquite, stay for dinner and head to Gregory's Steak House inside the Eureka. Their prime rib is good although I think the rib eye is better. Really decent prices on their wine list.

Wherever you end up playing, you'll have a blast. The courses out there are fun yet windy. Enjoy!
