Great News, GK has updated and provided a complete list of FREE BIRTHDAY GOLF in the West! Check it out [HERE]

GG, have you tried a Google search yet? I just typed in 'free golf, birthday, california' and up came a course I played last week, Hidden Valley, definitely worth the drive but you need two paying patrons to use it. Greenskeeper.org also was a quick hit, so your swinging in the right direction. Happy B-day.

Yes, I know of two courses. Talega Golf Club (Orange County)-100% free. And also Hidden Valley Golf course (Riverside County) if you have two paying players. Hidden Valley let you go a week before or a week after!!

San Juan Hills is free green fee, but you have to pay the $15 mandatory cart fee on your birthday.

I am planning on playing Hidden Valley Golf course. I have one other paying player, but I am looking for at least one other person who is interested in playing at 8:56 AM on Halloween (this coming Saturday).

I hope this helps!

Cottonwood offers free golf on your birthday. There are two courses at Cottonwood (in El Cajon). One is Ivanhoe and the other is The Lakes. The Lakes has an island green. I played there twice on my birthday. One year, the cart was free, the next year I had to pay for the cart. It just depends on who is behind the counter.

No problem! Also check out Golf Now. They have had really good deals ($18 including cart) on one time a day around twilight. Green Tree is much better around noon after the course dries out since it's a mud bog in the morning, if only their greens crew new what they were doing.
