I recognized/sleuthed that the two golf-themed CareerBuilder commercials airing during the tournament this week are at Robinson Ranch. Wonder when they shot them, due to circumstances there.

Is that the one where the guy is fishing for his ball and gets viciously attacked by a bad CGI alligator? It's not even funny actually, just over the top violent. Darn thing is taking a huge bite out of him!

A commercial for Protected PCI (whatever that is) features the 15th hole at Robinson Ranch Valley....before the fire.

Yes, and the other one begins in the pro shop (also @ RR, as far as I can tell) with a woman proposing that he tries some new balls. He says all balls are the same, and then proceeds to break the windshield of his cart and a ball explodes on him.

Just saw a new Farmers Insurance commercial at Griffith Park. (Dog knocks car into neutral, it rolls across course and Rickie Fowler yells "Fore!")

I noticed a new commercial for Farmers insurance that features Ricky Fowler. The premise is a dog driving a car, chasing a squirrel. It looks like the clubhouse at Griffith Park golf course. When they show Ricky, it appears that he is on hole 18 on Wilson. Tell me what you guys think.

It's definitely the Wilson/Harding clubhouse at the beginning of the commercial, but I don't think it's 18 where Fowler is about to hit as you would see the clubhouse behind the green. I'm more tempted to think it's #1 with the car rolling down the hill on the right as you approach the green.

Right now there's a horribly cheesy movie on Syfy channel called Blast Vegas. The hotel posing as a Vegas resort is actually Fantasy Springs Resort in Indio, and the waterfall beside Eagle Falls' 18th hole was used in a sort of apocalyptic scene. The channel on the other side of 18 was used in a chase scene, too. So far no actual golf course sightings.
Unrelated, I remembered that many scenes of High School Musical 2 are shot on the driving range and course at Entrada in St. George, Utah.

Where's the new Kuchar/Skechers commercial filmed at? Where he's walking with a big group of guys and one says "I'm not gonna rub your feet." It looks somewhat familiar but can't place it exactly.

I almost posted this same question. The terrain looks like California but I have no idea where it is. Big wide clubhouse up on that hilltop should be a dead giveaway if anyone's been there.
