Played the meadow/lake course. Used an internet special and for the price it was very good. The course was in good condition and very fun to play. Enjoyable experience overall.

The course was in good condition. It was a little wet, however; the greens were semi fast. Pace of play was average for the weekend. Greens held most shots.

Was not impressed with what it costs to play. Course is challenging, but for the twilight rate of $69 course could have been in better condition. Greens were very slow.

I love playing at this course! The new ownership has made this an incredible value. Considering that it's in one of the most beautiful settings around -- surrounded by gorgeous chardonnay and syrah vineyards -- golfers would be hard pressed to find a course that offers a better value. Chardonnay has full-service, private feel and the staff is friendly and even the food is good!! The only thing to watch out for is if you like to use a pull cart you will be out of luck as they do not allow them.

The new owners at Chardonnay have done a great job in bringing this course back to life. They now have 3 sets of nines so you could get any of 3 combinations, all a good test. The greens were the best I've seen in N. CA all year, especially after all the hot weather we've had here. Fairways are very playable with few poor lies. Lots of water jugs also for the golfers. Some sand traps will need replacement sand of good quality in the near future, but other than that, it's worth the trip. Check the website for discounted rates.
