Played here as my early morning round yesterday. The guy in the pro shop told me the day before he usually opens up around 7:00. I was the only one there, so I paid my $16 for 9 holes. I decided to pay $9 extra for a cart, even though it was cart path only, just because I wanted to play as quickly as I could to make my next tee time. I was done here in less than an hour.

Conditions were pretty similar to that of Ukiah Valley the day before. Very wet, mushy and muddy throughout after all the recent rain. Tee boxes, fairways and rough were all pretty sloppy and not recently mowed, so it was what it was. There are only a couple bunkers on the course and I wasn't in one, so no comments there. The greens were pretty nice, though. They were very soft, but rolling fairly well at medium speeds. I'm sure they quicken up later in the day and you don't want to be above the hole. It's a hilly course and those slopes will come into play on the relatively small greens here.

I've always heard this is one of the better short courses in the North Bay Area and I would have to agree. Decent facilities with great-looking three-tiered driving range. Fun and entertaining 9-hole layout. Pretty setting, as well. Nothing you want to go too far out of your way for, but a decent option if you want to enjoy a quick round in this neck of the woods.
