Played yesterday. Course is heavy from watering to beat heat damage. Fairways no roll out. Greens sott spongy and divot marked. Great customer service as always. But slow play due to conditions. Not ideal conditions at the moment.

Before leaving Eureka I drove over to Indian Springs for another round. Wilderness gets all the press but this is a great little links style course in a beautiful seasonal RV village. But a great course that plays through the beautiful grass prarie surrounding the village. Course is in terrific shape and a tremendously enjoyable layout. I could almost envision the buffalo who probably roamed on this land years ago. And the secenery is great. I would call it one of those rare gems of a course you run across in your lifetime of playing golf and leaves a great lasting memory.

Flew into Kalispell yesterday and spent the day in Glacier. Staying in Whitefish so I got up early this AM and drove up to Eureka. Hard to believe I was last here in 2022. And boy has this place changed and also been discovered. Lots of development since my last trip and many more people. But got out early and POP was right on 4 H. The course IMO has gotten better and it is still a beautiful course and location. Tee boxes all level and playable. Fairways are in great conditon for roll out and lies. And you want to stay in the fairway and avoid the rough, deep grass, water, etc. Was in one trap and it was perfect. Greens were just fantastic for chipping and putting all round. Terrific customer service from all employees. Well worth the drive up from Kalispell or Whitefish. No idea when I will make it back up but I am glad I did it this time.

Played today on a hot summer day in a Net ball tournament for charity. I have never played here so that was one reason to play as well as support for the charity. I read Weber's review and asked for some advice and will concur with him on conditions, greens and bumpy fairways. I thought the layout of the course was fine and enjoyed the routing as well as the OB and water challenges that were present. Tee boxes could use some leveling. Fairways are dry in areas but provided good lies most of the time and decent roll out. Was fortunate to miss any traps but heard no complaints either. As I mentioned a fair share of OB and hazards can ruin ones round especially first time players. Greens were the highlight of the course for sure. Large and great chipping and putting all round and with good speed of perhaps 10. Nice grass driving range. Great customer service. Nice carts which can be taken to the parking lot. And good food and service from the snack bar. Given the location of the course I am not sure when I will be back but I agree with Tom that it is a well run and well priced course. One that I would not hesitate to return too if the right opportunity arose. And for those that don't know there is another 18 named Butterfield Stage on property. I would suggest if you are going to play here get an early time. It was very crowded even though today was a Sat.

Played yesterday AM. Course is in nice shape all around but very wet in many areas due to recent heat wave. I found all tee boxes to be playable. As well as the traps at that time of the morning. Fairways are playable but little roll out due to watering. Especially in front of the greens. If they are not careful they will have more cart track damage like in front of # 11 due to watering (huge). The greens are slow also due to watering so that they do not get burned out like what happened last year. POP was right on 3 H so that was good for a Tues morning. As always great customer service at all levels from Christian, Madison, Rich (carts) and Phil and Oscar (grounds crew).

Played this AM on a beautiful golf morning. POP as first out was 2.5 H. Great way to spend an early morning. Course is in good playing condition at the moment. Though some areas are over watered IMO and effect roll out and bounce. Fairways not so much but many of the fronts of the greens are soft and many of the greens are not very fast for chipping/putting. No tee issues nor trap issues at this time of the day. Customer service in shop and other employee contact was all great. A round of golf is great no matter where one plays.

Played today. Nice cool comfortable morning. Course is in reasonably good shape although it seems over watered in many areas. Especially in front of many greens and the greens themselves. No tee box issues. No trap issues. But while the fairways are green and provide good lies the roll out is not that great on many holes. As for the greens? They look good but chip and putt slow IMO. And there are a lot of unrepaired divot marks. Excellent service in the shop and with all other employees encountered.

Played yesterday. Course in beautiful shape. Stayed at the hotel night before on a great package deal. Played early to beat any heat and found the following. All tee boxes fine. Traps playable. Fairways great coverage and good roll out. 5000 foot elevation is added bonus. Greens all in outstanding condition for holding and releasing shots. As well as chipping and putting. Outstanding customer service at all levels. Great food at all meal times. Highly recommended.

Played yesterday with my former group who I played with years ago when I lived in CO Springs. Great to see we are all alive and doing well and still playing golf :). This is in my top ten of all golf courses I have played and I have played many. Set in a beautiful part of the AFA even with all the players on the course you still feel you are there just with your own group. Course is in fantastic shape at the moment. Meticulously groomed all around.
Tees great. Fairways wonderful. Traps very playable and greens in beautiful shape. Great food in the clubhouse and with great prices.

Played here yesterday with my friend a long time member for his 75th birthday. Glad we played early as it was hot up here in the high desert. They have really improved this course since my last visit. Cleaned up a lot of trees and brush making the course play so much better. Found the course to be in great shape given the warm weather. Never an issue with a tee box or sand trap. Fairways clean and good lies and roll out all round. Greens were smooth, clean and chipped/putted great on all holes. This is a well run and maintained private course and always a pleasure to play here. Had a wonderful lunch on the patio aftewards.

Played yesterday early AM to avoid the heat. Tee boxes were good. Fairways are drying out in some areas but they all had good rollout. Bunkers were all clean at that time so no issues. Greens are all in good shape for chipping and putting. Good service in shop as usual.

Played today in a nice POP of 3 H. They are still doing some aerating as they were doing the tee boxes today. So with all the work they have done, the course is nice and clean and lush. But it is an over watered course on every hole. So drives really go no where and most balls come up muddy. The traps are playable thank goodness. But the greens are looking nice but they are slower than mollases. And with very little wind or sun the course is not drying out very well. So I guess we just live with it and ride it out. At least the staff is great and the food prices are good Wed through Friday. And the new carts are really really nice.
