Played 10/14/2011. The most important thing about this course for you to have a good time is to choose the appropriate tees. This is a very demanding difficult course. Unless you are a single digit handicapper, choose the white tees. Even the shorter gold tees have a slope of 114. I you choose the silver tees you will be faced with many approaches over 200 yards as they have very long par 4's. Also use a lob wedge out of the bunkers as they tend to be hard and shallow. Greens are lightning fast, so dedicate some time on the practice green or you will be 3 or 4 putting all day.

A very pleasing layout. Pin positions at this club tend to be difficult and produce a lot of 3 puts if you don't get it close. Use a lob wedge out of the sand traps as they tend to be hard and shallow.

Played 9/8/2011. Even though the summer has browned the course a bit, it was still very playable and enjoyable. Greens a little bit slower than normal, but was not bumpy. For those of you who balk at playing a par 62 course, please reconsider this one. After 18 holes you will have played every club in your bag. Virtually every hole is a different length. Par 4's go up to 430 yards & par 3's 192. On this particular day, I played by myself at a leisurely pace and finished in 2 1/4 hrs.

Played 8-24-11. This course is always maintained well. It is a classic tree lined layout that plays easy if you keep it in the fairway off the tee. The rough is short-but penal as the cucuya grass will grab the clubhead. Greens are soft, but not slow. Very smooth putting surfaces. Do not play run up shots to these greens as the local grass will grab at the ball and either stop it or deflect it in a different direction. Your 60 degree is your friend at this golf course.

This Ted Robinson design is a pleasant collection of well designed holes. However, all of the greens as of 7/29/2011 were spongy and bumpy. I had many short putts that jumped sideways. As a result I had a total of 37 putts for my round. I average 32. The only way to play the greens in this condition is to hit firm putts to the back of the hole. Hopefully the staff will give more attention to the green condition in the future.

Played 8/5/10. As always, course is in absolutely great condition and worth the few extra dollars you pay to play. No boaring holes here. Great practice facilty with range, chipping and putting greens. Walking is allowed here as the coarse is realatively flat. Pace of play here is generally good because beginners find this coarse too challenging.

Played on 7/12/2010. Course is in great condition. This is a classic tree lined course with very few sand traps. However, the rough here is penalty enough as it tends to grab your club. For soft conditions, the greens ran relatively fast and true. You will want to play a high ball off the tee as you will get very little roll from the lush fairways. Finished my round in 3hrs.

While the Blue course is in horrible shape, the RED Course was in great shape on 6/28/10. I played from the back tees, which makes for a very challenging 18 with one par 3 at 250 yds. There are some very memorable holes on this course. Especially #18.

Played 6/29/10. Course is in beautiful shape all around. A challenging dessert course with lots of hazards, but lots of room to drive the ball on most holes. Make sure you have the correct club off the tee for the short par 4's and the lay ups on the 5's as they have dessert hazards fronting the greens. Also, this course uses different grasses on the greens and fairways than most of the other courses in the area. A bermuda type grass on the greens which lands soft but puts fast. Fairway grass is closely mowed but soft so your club can get under it.

This is a course which appears to be an executive course, but is a very challenging layout with 4 par 5's, 6 well hazarded par 3's, and 8 par 4's ranging from the driveable to a 464 yard finishing hole. A very satisfying layout. That being said, the summer conditions (played 6/27/2010) are bad. Many bad lies in fairways, bare spots on greens, and a lack of cold water on the course. The 16th holes green is unputtable concrete. Fairways have recently been aireated. Front 9 is in better shape than back nine.

Played on 6-22-2010 9am. Great value for the $28 green fee(cart included). Course is very green. Fairways, Rough, and Greens are kept a little longer than the average coure. Drives will get less roll in the fairway, but tend to sit up in the rough. Greens definitely play slower so adjust your stroke accordingly. None of this is a true negetive because the conditions are good, just different. The only true negetive: AND IT'S A BIG ONE; is 90% of the sands traps should be roped off as Ground under repair. Hopefully the greenskeepers from the course read these critiques.

Start time 9:30. Never had to wait for the group ahead. Our 4some finished in 4 hrs. Excellent value for the price. Course is very lush all around. Fairways are kept a little longer than most so your tee shot will not get as much roll. Greens are also kept a little longer than most resulting in soft and slow greens which roll smoothly. The only true negative would be the sand traps. Most that our group encountered were very hard and dirt like. It looked as if the Course is in the process of addressing this issue. Many traps were staked as ground under repair and new sandtraps were being added on some holes.
