Greens had just been aereated, but still a good experience. Very nicely kept golf course.

Good course to play. Great facilities and good playing conditions. Par 3's are all great holes

Love this course. The greens are fast, but very fair. They roll very true. Great selection of holes with varying difficulty. A can't miss course.

Stopped here on the way back north for a quick 18. Hit a small bucket at the range and thought the range looked iffy. Oh well, some do. Went to the first tee and it looked like a desert. Played the first hole and decided to quit. it was terrible. The fairways were dead and had many barespots. The first green had some kind of fungus. The city of Madera should be ashamed of the condition of this course. Even allowing for winter conditions and dormant grass, this was the worst I have seen any course in the central valley. I would suggest turning it into grazing land if they aren't going to maintain it at an acceptable level.

OK course. Slow play though. Not the best value in the area. Have played here twice and regretted it both times afterwords.

Front nine was nice and interesting. Some good holes. Back nine was quirky. Some of the Oak Trees were too penal. Too narrow of driving areas to justify length sometimes and basically no entrance to some greens for a good shot. Won't play here again.

Nice course. But....needs work. Too many blind shots. Looks like the designer got tired of moving dirt and just planted holes to finish. 9 and 18 (both par fives) need flattening out. There are some fun holes though. Number 10 with the elevation change is fun and also number 17 with the carry over water is a great hole. Service is great. If they would only tweak the course a little it would be so much better.

Play Creekside instead. Much better value. The slaughterhouse across the river lends lends a distinctive aroma to the layout. I have seen kids from the neighborhoods nearby running around the course stealing balls.

Excellent course for the price. Good combination of holes and just plain fun. Lots of birdie opportunities.

Very nice course. Good condition. I would rate it second best in the area, next to Saddlecreek. The GPS system was great and really helps the first time player.
