I played Wed. 28th . It was a 5 hour round . The greens where very good . The speed on the greens was medium/fast . Didn't see very many divots on the greens . " Good job Golfers ." The fairways were cut thin and had lots of divots everywhere . The sand traps looked okay , I stayed out of them so I don't know what they were like . It's a fairly easy course to play and the price right . If your going to play here , expect a long day.

I like playing Rio Hondo ........ It has very narrow farways which challenge your game . The greens were very smooth , Median/ Fast .... The sand traps were in good shape , lots of sand . We played Thursday & it was a 5 hour round . Christmas crown . It is a little pricey but well worth playing once or twice a year .

We played 10/12/11 . The course is in BAD SHAPE . Tee boxes uneven & chopped up. Greens are real slow & they just mow them that day . The price was only $28 to walk & I fills like I got ripped off . Poor Maintenance .

I play golf on Sundays but I don't have a lot of money . El Prado has two courses that are inexpensive and not to bad for play . We got a good deal sunday , $25 with a cart . Only because the greens were punched and the farways over seeded . My only complaint is the sand traps . No sand .

Recreation Park is in good shape . They roll their greens . The greens where smooth and fast . They have Bermuda grass on the farways and rough that will catch your club head and open the face , making for a bad shot . So you need to be a tiger and go after the ball . It's hard to get a tee time at Recreation Park if your not a Long Beach resident . This is their policy. SAD !

General Old . The course was not in the good shape that it once was . The greens had several ball marks . It's a shame that people don't fix ball marks . The tee boxes where uneven . The farways had lot of divots. But the price was right . You know what they say , you get what you pay for . I say POOR MAINTENANCE .

Played Diamond Bar Sunday and played good , shot a 75 . It was hot , in the 100's . One guy in our group over heated . He kept throwing his clubs . I don't think he knows the amount of stress he puts on the group when he throws his clubs . Now everyone in the group will need to keep an eye on him . " Please don't throw your club at me !"

Today was a real HOT day , and I'm not talking about my game . It was HOT. We were a 5some and it took us about 5 hours to get a round , but for what it cost to play , you can't complain . I hope the price stays the same . They also have a new GREEN on the third hole , Par 3 . Beautiful !!! I thought I was in Tiger Woods back yard until I saw that ugly fence in the back ground . Over all , I thought the course was in good shap. Good job Lakewood !!!
