Played this course 2/28 (tuesday). Great layout and great condition all around. i couldn't find anything negative about this course in terms of layout and the maintenance. I think this is probably one of the best value golf course in Maui. The only draw back is that the course is not near the ocean.

Played here 3/1/2012. Amazing golf course. amazing experience. I can't think of anything negative about this course... ok, may the green fee. $268 is pretty expensive but i still think this is a must play course if you ever go to Maui.

played here 2/20 president's day. teed off little after after our actual tee time of 8:30. pace of play was not too bad (little over 4 1/2). i definitely have seen better condition at this course but another nice enjoyable day at eagle glen. may be the bad economy or just a seasonality thing but it just seems like a common theme for most courses. greens rolled pretty fast which kills your putting if you just played a slow green the round before. fairways, roughs, and sand traps were not bad but there were some uneven tee boxes. i'm usually not that picky but it's bad when i have to stand behind and try to look for a good flat and even area that i can tee off.
overall, another solid enjoyable round here.

My first time playing at Whittier Wide-Flat golf course. Played 2/4 Saturday morning 7:22am tee time for around $40, which is really good for saturday morning tee time. I live in the inland empire and had to play with 3 dudes from the LA area so this was a perfect location. Started the morning with some awesome tasty huge breakfast burrito with everything on it (ham, sausage, bacon). Noticed there was a korean food menu (like!)... i guess lots of koreans play there?!?! I'm usually not too picky about the condition of the course unless i constantly have to hit off the dirt. so the condition of this course was neither really bad nor really good. i realized how well i can drive the ball when there's no pressure of hitting hazards or OBs. I also confirmed once again that iron shots especially chipping and pitching is more challenging for me at these LA-muni-style-whatever-you-call-strong-weedy-grass (kikuya?) when you're used to playing courses out in the IE. i was also little concerned about the pace but, it wasn't too bad. 4-1/2 to 5 i think... i'm good as long as i don't get stuck out at the course for over 5 hours.
overall, i really enjoyed the round.
i'll play here again if i have to play with buddies from LA on saturday morning without spending too much money.

Played 2 rounds here yesterday 12/28. morning round took us 4~4 1/2 hours since we were like the 3rd group. teed off again at 1:30 and played up to 16th hole. I guess a lot of people are off this week because the course was pretty much at its full capacity. I don't play here regularly but I felt like the greens were pretty slow, especially after playing one of the corona courses on Monday. distance control is definitely harder on slower greens since it's harder to make a nice and smoother stroke... at least for me. went from no 3 putts on Monday at a fast green to multiple 3 putts here at a slower green. fairway was decent and gave you a good roll.
Long but not much troubles. Happy to use one proV1 for 34 holes without losing it.
Overall, beautiful day at a decent course and had a good time.

Played here yesterday 12/26. I always get killed at this course. my handi 11.9, but i don't think i've ever broken 90 here until yesterday when i shot 83. Finally hit me yesterday that you gotta know when to be aggressive and when to be conservative. easy to get big numbers on certain hole if you lose focus.
tee boxes were nice, fairways were nice, greens rolled decent to fast. some greens were definitely really difficult. few shots hit the green and rolled off. i don't know if it's because the course is long or you have to be really focused through out or if it's just me but i always feel a bit drained by the time i get to about 16th hole. But overall, i really enjoyed the round.
