Real scenic private course in Fresno area in perfect shape. Old school layout with wide tree lined fairways and a fair amount of elevation change.
It plays thru the weirdest neighborhood I've ever seen. Half fifties style ranch houses interspersed with ginormous multi-level mansions some that had to be reinforced into the hillsides. Throw in a low-slung complex that looked like an apartment building, and they had it all. None of these structures came into play or detracted from the golf, just odd.
6312 from the white tees 70.2/122 par 71 solid test with not a ton of trouble just a solid course all around.

Pretty basic central valley golf course. Wide, tree lined fairways. Flattish greens and lots of deep sculpted bunkers. 6245 white tees offer a fair test. Played with two brothers who have been members for about ten years. Greens were a bit chewed up, otherwise rest of the course was in private club shape.
The brothers were members at Kings River previously; I played there before this round, and we all agreed Kings was the better course. Johnny if you read this and add it to the data base, I will review it.

The North course is now a fully opened 18-hole course. Played the new front nine when it opened, don't remember how many years ago. It is fully grown in and playing firm and fast.
I remember enjoying it the first time I played it and enjoyed it again this time. The new nine was good and playable but definitely could use some growing in time. A very unique layout, it holds pretty true to a links course. Course has lots of roll, pot bunkers, sod faced bunkers, with difficult and oddly shaped greens. I had 39 putts!
6382/118 from the tips, very reasonable. 15mph steady wind all day, pretty standard out here, and it added to the challenge. The front is a little more out in front of you, the back nine I would need another crack at. Wide open fairways but you need proper lines and angles to score well. The bunkers look cool, and I wish they actually had more of them, but they can be penal, good soft sand right now. The greens are all offset and tricky. The ones on the back are super firm, even heard the thwack on chips! Front pins on those greens were borderline unfair and they were mostly on the short holes. My advice, forget the flag and aim for the middle. The GPS app I was using didn't have the back nine and all the flags were white so hard to tell what part of the green they were on.
The back nine had more water, and some were slightly hidden. GolfNow has a few deal times a day, I think I paid $50 to walk with a coupon. They don't allow carts on Monday or Tuesday, and I think it is $55 to walk after 1PM on the regular website.
It's flat so not a tough walk even with some extra back and forth but with the wind it tired me out.
Haven't played a course like it anywhere in the area and it's a nice compliment to the south course. Worth the $50 hope it grows in nicely and they maintain it.

Just an incredible golf course. I was wowed by the layout and the challenge. Played with one ball, was in the middle of every fairway, 3 putted twice and still shot 90. Pure torture and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. Not tricked up, just a flat-out tough course. Gold tees played 6375 but with the overseeded fairways and the elevation changes it played longer. Lots of deep bunkers defending greens on all sides, many in front. The course was in excellent shape all-around. Teed off at 1:20 with some friendly Canadian snowbirds who slowed down at the end, but we finished with about 15 min of light left. Got a Golfnow deal so that made it very reasonable, but my cheap ass might even pay the rack rate. Highly recommend.
Was interested to see what Coore and Crenshaw did with a flat unremarkable piece of land.
I walked away very impressed. It is a subtle well thought out golf course. Fairways are a mile wide but there is always a preferable side to be on for a better approach. Par 70 that played tough for me, gold tees 6510 yards on a flat course with no roll. Course was green throughout and in great overall shape The greens were large, smooth, medium fast and challenging. Prime season here so everything is pricey, some Golfnow deals out there made it an affordable choice.

Teed off at 12:30 with two nice guys who live in the complex. Lots of people in the parking lot and on the practice green so I was worried about finishing. Each hole seems isolated from the others so I couldn't tell if it was crowded. The guys I played with played fast, the group in front of us not so much. We waited on every shot and still finished by 4PM, This place runs a tight ship, I started on #1 but I think they were using split tees, so that had to of helped.
Course is a fun challenging layout coming out of overseed. Greens were large, smooth and medium fast. Fairways were plush but didn't heed much roll making for a long 6,467-yard blue tees.
Sand traps were numerous, huge, flash faced and filled with sparkling white soft sand. Done in an Australian sand belt style they framed the holes beautifully.

Good warm up course in very good shape. 9-hole track with 4 short par fours a 500-yard par 5
and the ninth hole playing 401 from the tips which for some reason they list as a par 5. (it's a very solid par 4) They have 2 hot deals per day for less than $15 I think, otherwise I'm pretty sure it's in the $40 range. Greens were medium speed, and the traps all had good sand. In this area it's an absolute steal at the discounted rate which includes a cart. Staff was super nice and even let my wife ride along for free.

Solid locals course in decent winter shape. It was pretty foggy, so I didn't get to see much of the layout. I was mostly impressed with a bunch of the green complexes on a very flat course.
Fairways were spotty, but I don't remember any bad lies and I got up and down from the one trap I was in.
$39 with cart twilight on a Sunday seemed fair not sure how much cheaper it is to walk but it is extremely walkable.

Local "Munish" course in pretty darn good shape. Scenic central coast mountain setting on a very hilly piece of property. $25 after 2PM, was well worth it, however I think they charge just as much for the cart. After walking it I think they could charge even more, LOL. It is quite a workout. Course is pretty lush right now, ball sat up nice and I had no bad lies. I wasn't in any sand traps but I don't remember seeing many. Greens were all smooth and medium fast.
It has some quirky, semi blind holes, that without a cart made it extra challenging for a first timer. Don't be lazy like me, walk up the sixth hole to see where to hit it. I played what I thought was a straight shot down the middle and never found my ball. Some of the fairways are pretty tight and tree lined. The back nine is one decent golf hole after the next over some very hilly terrain. Now is a good time to play it as it can get awfully toasty out here in the summer and the course conditions may suffer. It's nothing spectacular, but well worth it if in the area.

Another million dollar round on the I'm busted golf tour. Beautiful resort course right on the lake. Reminded me a lot of Edgewood, lots of trees and lake views. Very sporty layout. I played the 6,200-yard blue tees and the course was very getable. Course was 10's all around, perfect lies, perfect sand, perfect greens. I would call it a once in a lifetime course. It was real and spectacular, and I have no need to play it again. $230 green fee $40 for the wife to ride along, mandatory forecaddie ($30 suggested) and lunch, soon I'm gonna have to start robbing banks to feed my habit.
I wasn't prepared to enjoy the signature floating green hole as much as I did. I thought it was a gimmick, but it was a solid golf hole the day I played it. 170sh mostly all carry into a little breeze. I hit one short into the front bunker and then a shag ball into the back bunker so there is plenty of room even though it's an intimidating tee-shot. You then board a little boat to get there, and if you par the hole you get a certificate.
It's a fun golf course, a bit nickel and dimey, (wouldn't even let my wife deposit one in the water on the signature hole) A bucket lister for sure, maybe the day before you kick the bucket since there will be no money left over. If you get the chance after the round take the wooden boat ride over to the resort. The boats are built in the area and are very cool, it is also a very nice, scenic 10/15min ride on the lake. I think it's only for resort guests, but our forecaddie hooked us up.

I have mixed feelings about this course. It's a real solid golf course that was in perfect shape and in a nice wide-open scenic setting. It has great playability, shot values and is a good test. All the staff were friendly, especially the starter who loved his job and the course. The feelings stem from this course costing $199. I had to play on a weekend, but I think the weekday rate is $179. I don't know if they have a twilight rate. This course could have been a nice $100 course. I think if you stay at the resort you get $20 off the rack rate, and they may have stay and play packages. The course wins all sorts of awards, (best in state and such) so If you can get a deal it's a great golf course but not a $200 golf course in my opinion.
It's been a while since I was wowed by a golf course, this place fits the bill. Stunning setting, immaculate course conditions, tough challenge, what more could you ask for! I even caught a perfect weather day. I can't imagine this course in the wind or the rain. Did I mention tough?
I'm not a fan of the $200+ round of golf but I gotta say this place was worth every penny.
I played with almost no wind, avoided most of the trouble, played with one ball and struggled to break 90. Course conditions were a 10 all around, not a blade of fescue out of place. Greens were fast, smooth, and challenging.
I played a combo set of tees that was 6,302 and not rated very hard. (70.4,127) I guess I must stink because I would put this up there with Bethpage Black and Kiawah Island as far as difficulty. It is also a bit of a death march in a good way walking wise. They take pity on you and drive you up the hill between the 3rd and 4th hole.
Course played like a true links. The ball rolled in the wide fairways, and you could putt from 50 yards off the green, but many balls would feed toward the numerous fairway and greenside bunkers which were all in great shape and varied in difficulty. Bunkers and tall fescue line most fairways and you better hope you are in the bunker. Greens were tough but not tricked up although everyone in the group managed to putt a ball off a green and into a bunker.
If you get a chance, I highly recommend checking it out or adding it to your bucket list.
