Played on May 1st. Had an 8am tee time for a Saturday and finished in a little over 4 hours. Nice layout. Not particularly long at 6500+ yards, but a good test of your skills nonetheless. Great condition. A little warm, but it's Hemet, what do you expect. The range is located about 1/2 a block away from the pro-shop, and it's hard to hear your name called when it's your tee time, so pay attention to your watch. Pro shop staff were a little rude, which surprises me for a Landmark owned property. Surprising that they charge .75 cents for popcorn and $1.00 for soda refills in the snack shop area. It may not seem like much, but those little things may keep folks from hanging around after a round.

Played on Jan 10 in the morning. Played the blue tees as part of a company tournament, but should have played white. Marshall kept hounding us to pick up pace, but we finished in just a little over 4 hours. The group ahead probably played in a little under 4 hours. Pro shop never advised that #6 was playing to a temporary green. Otherwise, fairways were a little thin, but that is expected this time of year. Greens were in pretty good shape. Oh yeah, by the way, I won the company tournament.

Played on Sept 20. As expected, course was in excellent condition. Greens were running pretty quick, but not crazy fast. Most of the front nine sprinkler heads are now marked for yardage. They are working on completing the back nine. For the price and conditions, it's worth the 2 hour drive from the SF valley.

Played the course on Friday, Sept 19. 11am tee time. Walked and finished in a little over 3 hours. Course was in very good condition. Greens were pretty straightforward. No silly breaks or buried box cars. As usual, the wind came up in the afternoon and made a few holes coming in play a club or two longer. Lack of significant rough made recovery shots easy. Overall, a nice course for the price.

Played on Jul 27. The course itself was in pretty good shape. Although, you can't ask for too much at $27 a pop. Greens were normal for Diamond Bar. Good and smooth. As with any American Golf operation, the only problem was the fivesomes. Now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against a good fivesome. But allowing fivesomes to walk and play from tees that are above the players ability just grinds a good day of golf to a halt. Please, American Golf, if you're listening, please force fivesomes to ride.

Played the course on Jun 21. 8am Sunday morning tee time. The course was not crowded at all. In fact I would consider it extremely slow for a great course on a weekend morning. It's tough to make any criticisms about this course. Our group played from the blues in a little over 4 hours (a 1, a 2 and two 9 handicaps). Tee boxes were in decent shape. Fairways were in great shape. Sand was better than average. Greens rolled straight and true. About the only fault I could find is that the cart girl didn't have any chocolate chip cookies on board when she came around. If that's all I can complain about, then you know you should get out there and play!

Played the course again on Mar 29. Totally different from the previous week. Why? Three words. Santa Ana Winds!. Gusts must have been 30mph or more. Holes 10, 11 and 13 were all dead into the wind. And those can be tough holes without the wind. Course is still in great shape, but there are some bare spots beginning to show on some of the mounds and aprons around the greens.

Played on Mar 22. As expected, fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Was a little disappointed in some of the tee boxes on the par 3's, and #7. There was a fair amount of divot damage, but I guess you can't expect much on a Saturday at midday. Hit into two bunkers and both were firm-packed. Probably due to the recent rains. Otherwise, it was a beautiful day on a beautiful course.

Played three straight days, Mar 7-9. Course was in pretty decent shape. Some tee boxes a little messy, but fairways and greens were in good shape. Relatively tight course, but almost all areas are lateral hazards instead of o/b. Traps were very inconsistent. Some had small amounts of sand while others were too fluffy in spots. For the most part, staff on hand were not very helpful. On Sunday, there were nine carts lined up at the first tee waiting to tee off. This could have been avoided with better preparation and handling at the clubhouse.

Played on Feb 23. Sure it's out in the middle of nowhere, but it's got grass on the fairways, consistent greens and it's a pretty good test of golf. Beware of the new bunker they're building on #5. It's already the #1 handicap hole, and they're making it narrower off the tee.

Played there on Mar 2. They've done a decent job of cleaning up after the recent rains. Fairways have never been real lush, but were better than normal. Greens were a little slower than normal, but were in great shape. Backdrop of snow covered Mt Baldy was spectatular.

Played the course for the second time on Jan 4th. Greens are still in great shape. Tenth fairway is a little thin, but all others are in great shape. Yardage markers are now in the fairways on sprinkler heads. Including some humorous one. For example, on the 3rd fairway there's one that says "Eat your Wheaties!" Course has some similar characteristics to Cascades, Rustic Canyon, Tierra Rejada. As with any course, it helps to keep the ball in play. The shubbery off the fairways is thick and it makes finding your ball quite difficult. Trust me, I know!
