Thanks RBRBRB for saying it best. I wonder if the municipalities and private parties that contract with American Golf ever survey the clientel....American Golf is all about $$$$. How many five-somes can you send off the first tee. 6 minute tee times on holiday and weekends....Marshalls that don't do a thing but look for lost balls. Vineyard used to be a great place to play. Things have gone downhill since American Golf took over. The GM--I think Monica is her name is a nutcase. You talk to her about a complaint and she just stares at you with that "deer in headlights" blank stare.

played on a Saturday with a golfnow.com special. $26 with cart! Mapquest and directions in SCGA book are alittle convoluted! Nick in the proshop did a great job getting us there. Be prepared for a drive once you get off the freeway....definitely off the beaten path. Staff was friendly, got us off right away. Course has potential...was alittle dry in spots and thoroughly soaked in others. Greens were ok, rolled well.

Only complaint is the "excess noise" coming from the practice green due to junior lessons. maybe a lecture on ettiquette should be the first lesson. Don't think I would make the drive again to play this course, except with another deal like we got this time

played on a saturday, with the $30 coupon. Course is tucked in a housing development, with little or no signage from the main drag..a little hard to find. Pro shop guy with no personality...come on...do you really need to wear your ultra dark ray bans inside?

The course itself was just okay. Alot of the fairways were soaked due to the hot weather. lots of thin areas on the fairways, lots of really long rough. The greens were just okay too. Rolled ok, but some had very bald and dead patches.

Decent layout...good for the $30 price. I don't think I would be as forgiving if I would have paid the $60-$80 regular price though

SLOW DIMAS ! ! !Save your money. Heard they fired the Superintenent last month and it shows. The layout is fun and challenging but it you're going to spend the money there are so many other course in the area that are alot nicer, and faster to play. The nickname for this pace, SLow Dimas is perfect. The starters and management don't care about how slow it is....you complain and they look at you like..."so what" I've played here a couple times but won't be back. The starters Javier and Dave are jerks, and the manager Tripp couldn't care less. Like I said, save your money!

the course is beautiful. Makes you think and place the ball. Distance isn't everything here. If you plan and use your course management skills, you will score low. If it's windy, its even more important. Take the drive, it is well worth it
