I had read some recent Yelp reviews of this course, but didn't see anything recent on GK. Played 4.21.21. I was fearing horrible conditions based on some reviews, and was pleasantly surprised. The greens were still healing from aerification, but overall the course was in good shape. The green were VERY slow, somewhat inconsistent, soft, and bumpy. Some of the bunkers were in pretty bad shape, but others were great. Some of the fairways were tight, but that is kind of expected this time of the year. PoP was just under 4 hours.

Played Saturday 4.17.21 in an early tee slot. This course is nice and is good shape right now, but there is NO WAY on God's green earth that this course should be as expensive at it is. This course is flat, relatively benign, and sandwiched between a million apartments. It is a longer version of Birch Hills. They should be charging half the cost that they do. Apparently they are under new management and have made some recent changes. The greens were still healing from aerification, had some bald patches, and were firm. The bunkers were excellent, and the fairways were good for the most part. Couple thin spots, but not many. I don't mind this course, but for the cost, I cannot justify playing here that often.

I love me some Goose Creek. Probably my favorite course in the area. Amazing conditions, but I was not happy with their pro-shop/customer service today. I found out when checking in, that I had "pre-paid" for my entire group! Yes, every modern course has an online booking system, and they often put a credit card hold on your card, but don't charge it until your group shows up. At that time, individuals have the option to pay. Today, I was told I "pre-paid" for the entire group and if I wanted to pay separately, I would have had to have called them to book the tee time! Complete BS. I was told "because of Covid". Not cool and the guys in the shop were not helpful. If you are the one trying to get a tee time for your buddies, best call the course, otherwise you will be collecting fees from all your friends, instead of them paying the course.

Course is in great shape! Fairways are a bit lush and soft, so the ball doesn't roll far, but it is playing nicely. PoP was under 4 hours. My only issues are the divots... people need to fix their divots. Seems to be more of an issue lately at AHGC.

Pro shop staff was very friendly. Check in was simple and easy. Course was crowded and we waited at every hole, but finished in 4 hours 10 minutes. Not bad. Super tight lies on the fairways and rough. Greens were very good, quicker and soft. Very tough course.

Played a 7am tee time. Check in was easy. No scorecards which is so weird to me. Foam in the holes and no touching the flags. PoP was 4hours 10minutes. The best thing about the course were the greens. They were fantastic. The fairways and rough were concrete! They attempted to paint them green, but it was mostly yellow. Bunkers were not great either. Course is enjoyable and challenging.

7:38 tee time on Memorial Day. Check in was smooth. They have gone pretty extreme on the Covid precautions, it it is what it is. No scorecards... no flags (irrigation flags), no rakes, etc. PoP was 3hours 40minutes. Love the spaced tee times to help with the PoP. Course is in descent shape. Some ball marks in the greens and bumby. Lots of people don’t fix their divots.

Check in process was smooth, albeit outdoors. 15 minute tee time spacing and no driving range/practice facility open. Course was in good shape as always. No waiting on any hole and no one behind us. 4 hours flat PoP with our group walking.

11:36 tee time. Got there a few minutes early, with an easy check-in process. Tee Box was open and waiting for us. We were able to tee off a few minutes early. Course is in great shape. Greens are still healing though. They did add irrigation flags where the hole is on the green, so at least you had a general idea where to hit on the green. (Much better than no flags on Saturday). We walked, but most groups were riding. Tough track to walk, but good exercise. PoP was 4 hours on the nose, with very little waiting. Wish it could always be that way!

First day back open. Snagged the first tee time and walked. 4 hours PoP on the nose. Course is LUSH. Greens were pretty furry though, so they rolled slowly. Although they were so smooth. No flags at all though. That made it tough... Great to be back playing golf!

Post "lock-down" round. Course was in AMAZING shape. Walking only. No rakes in bunkers, but we were one of the first groups out. so not a big issue in the fluffy bunkers. 4 hour PoP. Would have been faster, but quite a hike. No waiting on any holes. Greens were very receptive, soft, and TRUE. Fairways were firm and still had holes from aeration, but didn't affect play. Rough was LUSH. Very much enjoyed it!

Haven’t played here in years. Course was in good shape. Greens were half punched which was a bummer, but the rest of the course was great. PoP was okay... 4:40 minutes.
